Well he lost 60% the 70 kids he brought in last year. Now they're back in the same position they were last year with most of the roster being brand new and they will probably suck again.

IT WAS A 1-11 TEAM! Others heard the same thing… ‘Hit the portal’… ‘I’m gonna make you quit’. Xavier Smith wasn’t the ONLY person to hear those words. He was just one of these professional victims who was too thin-skinned to accept the challenge. Ask Ben Fenneseth. Ask Trevor Woods. Ask Charlie Offerdahl. They all stayed, accepted the challenge and made the team. Charlie; who was a walk-on, demonstrated a true personification of tenacity and determination and earned himself a scholarship. Mr. Smith says that Coach Prime didn’t even take the time to get to know him. You were one of several players. You didn’t stick around long enough for him to do so.
It was a 4-8 team too (2022)......Prime hasn't done anything the previous coach didn't do. This season is a prove it season, if they don't make the playoffs, he's a bust.

@68hubcap it's his 2nd season....he dropped half of the players from the 1-11 season and brought in his own recruits. This year, he's had a full recruiting cycle both high school and portals. People like you are ready to make excuses for him but if he's anywhere near as good as he claims to be, there are no more excuses. Saban won a title his 2nd season after bringing in his own recruits. 2007, Bama lost to Louisiana Monroe, we were a 5-7 team. If Prime is as good as he claims to be, this is at least a playoff year, based off the great coach model. I don't think he'll ever be comparable to Saban. He doesn't need a chip to be great. He just needs to make the playoffs and win at least 1 game.

They put Deion on a pedestal as a coach that he doesn’t belong on he has done nothing in his coaching career. With all the talent he brought in he won four games in a weak PAC 12. And threw his players under the bus. And I don’t expect him to do any better this year.

Well let’s use common sense, with a head coach having to mentor 53 players, let’s be honest, sometimes the head coach may not totally 100 percent try to get to know every player, mainly being that there’s most likely not enough time to get to know 53 people personally.
What would the kid say if Deion kept him there as a practice player and never told him that he lacks the skills to be a starter. This is part of the problem that Coach Prime and his son’s “Well Off Media”has brought about with the RU-vid all access to the program. Now there are loads of content providers and commentators on everything Colorado and CoachPrime! The initial intent was to give fans a behind the curtain access to the program and introduce the recruits to the fans and public. However its become too saturated with “click baiting” and anyone who wants to talk or criticize the football program! What started out as a marketing and recruiting tool has become a public relations nightmare! NO OTHER FOOTBALL PROGRAM IS DOING ANYTHING CLOSE TO WHAT COLORADO AND COACH PRIME ARE DOING WITH MEDIA! This has generated envy, hatred , and jealousy and has turned Colorado’s football team into a villain with a HUGE TARGET on the team, especially its quarterback and coach! Now there has to be a campaign to repair the image of Coach Prime, Shedeur, and the program. Shedeur’s Heisman campaign and #1 overall NFL draft pick status may be at stake!

There is 4+ times last year in almost press conference after press conference where Dijon was asked about a played and Dijon had zero fucks or clues as to who the players where! He had no clue who the center is. A person who works directly with schedur his son the QB and he had no clue he was!

Issue is becoming there are more than one of these players saying they are just blown off by Coach Prime and not even acknowledging players. You can communicate to players, value them, and still cut them loose.
