You do know that certain topics grab the most views and comments, right? I promise you if more of the audience was interested in the Vikings, they would talk about the Vikings
Media and social media has changed so much since Plaxico played, its crazy to say things like this wouldnt have happened back then if they had the means
I guess Plaxico doesn't remember AB live streaming the post game locker room? And these guys must not watch Dak in the playoffs. All he has to do is win a SB? Last I checked that takes 3 or 4 straight wins in the playoffs. Dak can barely win a single playoff game once every 4 or so years.
It's a different time. Social media is this generations cordless phone. Social media wasn't a thing when plaxico played. BTW there are other nfl players who have podcasts, the Kelce brother for example. The issue is discussions about responsible podcasts, the kelce brothers for example, that someone needs to have with these players. Finally, the owner should be the example and Jerry is not.
Imagine in America, the land of opportunity and business, people telling you to give up a business. A business that can go on in perpetuity LONG after a viable football career.
That's not the point. It's not like Micah is doin this only and on his free time. It could be argued that him doin this is a detriment to his play on the field. We've seen more sponsorship deals and publicity/events with him than actual studying, working and training on what his main job is and is paid for
The difference between Pittsburg/giants vs the cowboys is yes, Big Ben and obj cause some issues, but did Eli or Antonio brown go out on a radio show and air out the problem
AB live streamed his coach leading a team meeting and Big Ben went on local radio to talk cr@p on Leveon's contract negotiations... Steelers did the exact same sh!t
Okay here’s my issue with Dak it’s the glazing he isn’t a bad QB he is a good qb with limitations that show up in the playoffs where he is historically mainly one and done but if you listen to the analylists he is just below the top 5 and way ahead of qbs like goff who has been to the superbowl and won playoff games with multiple teams. Then look at the hate Purdy a similar QB ( good with limitations) but who has achieved a lot more gets off nick and others and let it make sense please.
Plax and Brou aren't entirely wrong. The Cowboys are entertainment value first and a football team second and I hate it. It's a waste of talent and ruins the sport. But on the flipside, it's everyone's fault who tunes in to watch, that's the only reason Jerry is able to capitalize off it. As far as Micah goes, It's not like he's doin this only and on his free time. It could be argued that him doin this is a detriment to his play on the field. We've seen more sponsorship deals and publicity/events with him than actual studying, working and training on what his main job is and is paid for.
Nick is being ridiculous here. Take the comparison of Rothlisberger to Micah it's not analogous. Ben is a QB and went to a Superbowl his 2nd year as a player and went nearly undefeated his Rookie Year. Additionally, he didn't go on his own podcast but another persons show. Finally, he is and was a WINNER. By contrast, Micah and the Cowboys have underperformed and haven't won anything. It is fair for fans and members of the Cowboys to question Micahs commitment to team success and winning. I don't think Micah per se is the issue, but given the hapless nature of the Cowboys franchise, he is an easy target for the frustration of a poorly coached, led, and disciplined franchise.
Been a lifelong cowboy fan!! But yes send Dak anywhere!! Please make an offer in my opinion!! But our front office is trash always has been!! Jerry gets too much credit for the 90’s teams!!
I think American government should terminate the federal currency exchange for pro sports and instill the PESO as the currency exchange for pro athletes
Raiders should pay Carr to come back, I believe they gave him a raw deal and kicked him the curb. Pierce should really really bringing back their franchise qb
