its the new CBA which fucks up players who have super max and teams that have a super team or are on the road to become super teams..... one thing is sure if a big contract player does not play up to his contract he will not survive as per the new CBA
Kcp to Orlando was A very smart move for that organization. Palo can now have A outside shooter to kick the ball too. And also kcp can play defense on 3 different positions
The fact the lakers lead the Nuggets 70% of the series and the nuggets got bounced by the Timberwolves. AND they just lost their 4th best player, for nothing does not look good for the Nuggets at all.
Leading the series a lot of the time means nothing if you can't pull off the win. Basically it means you're playing a good first half or maybe 3 quarters and that's it. Fact is the Nuggets have owned the Lakers for the past 3 seasons and will likely continue to do so. The Wolves needed 7 games and a huge comeback to beat Denver. Considering the Wolves were built to beat Denver, that shows Denver is still legit. I wouldn't call KCP the 4th best player. It's Jokic, Murray, Gordon, and MPJ as their unquestionable top 4. KCP was 5th on there and I'm not about to say it's doom and gloom when a team loses its 5th best guy.
@@THE_BEAR_JEW The context was they lost their 6th and 7th best guy the year before. Normally it doesn't matter because teams usually are able to sign players with the similar quality to make up for it. But in this case Nuggets isn't doing nothing but just keeps losing players.
Dallas Mavs were not a failure no one really thought they were really going to make it to the finals. Boston was suppose to win this year, if they lost it would’ve been a failure for Boston.
Losing in the finals is not the same failing as losing in first round. Media nowadays makes it seem like outside of the champion it's the same result for other 29 teams and that's not true .. Being in the finals for a franchise is a huge success on the season. As an owner, you got a bunch of extra games, all televised, and I'm sure merch sales went up. 2023-24 Mavs had a successful season for their franchise. The best possible result isn't the only successful result. Each team has their own version of a successful season depending on where they are. It's wild to me that their is a more negative view on DAL for losing to a superior BOS team than MIN for losing to DAL. ANT gets praise for "taking next step" despite losing but Luka "failed" and has all these negative takes from media.
@@tyrellleach1846 yup and that's what started this trend. In the 90s guys got credit for making it to finals, after LeBron it became a more negative thing to lose in finals opposed to earlier in playoffs.
Brou talkin' bout injuries... But it's not like when the Clippers SIGNED Kawhi they didn't know about the injuries. They bought into a guy who had recurring debilitating injuries and a guy who was known for leaving teams. Epic fail.
To me the nuggets and the bucks are in similar situations. Nuggets probably need to focus on adding another scorer to the team that can take pressure off Murray and jokic s. A guy like Demar Derozen can score on an off ball. He can iso pick and roll. I think he would be worth trading 2 picks for. The bulls could also spot some role players for a third 1st rd pick. Give them some younger players. They definitely could package a guy like Porter with the picks. Maybe extend him say 120 million. Do a sign and trade with DeMar at his age you give him say 2yrs 50-60 mill and a team option for a third. He isn't a force multiplier superstar level player. He gets a good contract. He is with a legit playoff team. I think there not active enough honestly. You might even need to make a trade on Gordon to add more depth. You drafted Watson . Do you put more focus into his development. The teams already a playoff team. With a guy like Murray and Derozen he could have two guys to kinda figure out his strengths. Bucks honestly need to rebuild by next season. Trade Lopez portis Middleton and anyone else . Id go into next season 26 with 2 players on the roster mid late 1st . Those guys are still useful on playoff teams so maybe focus on striking free agency and possibly getting late to mid first rd picks so you can get younger around Gianni's and dame.
Of course Nuggets are failing Jokic. Completely. Thing is - Kroenke's are putting Nuggets on the market, and the talks are already happening. So Kroenke's are trying to control the cost as much as possible. That's the bottom line - Kroenke's are selling Nuggets and trying to squeeze every dime out of the deal. F*k Jokic, F*k the team - Kroenke's $s are at stake. Thing is - Booth is IN on the deal too... Probably got a "sweetener" from Kroenke's to sit tight, don't rock the boat and keep his dumb mouth shut. Big money is at stake. Malone is under NDA so he (even though he's furious) can't say shi* either. It's kinda funny that a) Nuggets fans didn't figure this out, and b) that Kroenke's think they will be able to pull this off unnoticed. :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) It was kinda obvious :))))) Couple of weeks ago: Josh Kroenke: “When Nikola Jokic is on your roster, you're going for it. We have the best player in the world. We have a responsibility to him to try and go for it.” Calvin Booth: "Im the steward of Jokic's prime" :))))))))))))))))))) Two weeks later - Nuggets don't even have a roster :))))))) Not to mention that their best hope left is Russ Westbrook :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) (and Russ is not an idiot and he'll tell them to f* off) :))))))))))))))))) But - no tax, no cost, net profit untouched. Kroenkes and Booth :)))))))) LIARS. Dirt cheap, shameless LIARS. One little thing though - I'm not sure Kroenkes are counting on Jokic busting this "deal" wide open. By just DEMANDING THE TRADE. The "valuation" of Jokicless Nuggets will be utter doodoo. I can only imagine the horror :)))))))) I'm so looking forward to see this happening. Kroenkes getting stuck with this pile of poopoo and Jokic doing the "wave and smile" thingy. Dumb, cheap, greedy, dishonest Kroenkes. BTW - Booth is now in Europe - he's NOT in US, even though it's the 11th hour of the FA... He's in EUROPE. Why? He's there to APPEASE Jokic - to give him some BS story in hope that Jokic will not fuck up Kroenke's little scheme. The idea is - appease Jokic, get him to do some public BS with Booth (interview, video, appearance, photo... anything) - like "nuggets GM is supporting Jokic and Serbia in the Olympics, even though it's critical time for the Nuggets"... a "grand gesture" to make sure he doesn't blow this deal up. What a pathetic bunch of cigani. But, Raznatovic is way ahead of these bozos. There won't be any "meets" any "photos" or any any.,.. Jokic will simply IGNORE and AVOID Booth like he would avoid an infected dog. And there will be "Jokic Demands a trade" news coming in the next week or so. And that will destroy Kroenke's calculation. F*k you Kroenkes.
The worst part of nuggets ownership is the bias towards mpj. Because the silver spooner Josh Kroenke went to Missouri, they aren't even looking at trading that moronic mpj salary... F..k the Kroenkes, how did one of the worst families in the states buy two of my favorite teams... f..k the Kroenkes!
KCP couldn’t get around any screens against the wolves. Braun could, hence the switch. PNR has always been the formula against Jokic so KCP is a liability and had to go
Russell Westbrook went to the Lakers trying to form a big 3 with AD & Lebron🙄 Russ will be going to Denver to be a backup guard and run the offense when Jokic & JMurray are resting😏 Russell Westbrook as a Denver Nuggets will finally become an NBA Champion🏆
Looks like Nuggets are tired of winning too much and hence they want Russ😂😂. If russ goes to nuggets it would be a best no trade for lakers without being in it.😅😂😂😂 May be jokic wants to play with Russ to see how to make shots at the back board and pass it to the audience 😅😅😅
Pity Bruce Brown, Jeff Green, (Paul Millsap, Gary Harris) and KCP are gone... But Croatian center Dario Saric, DaRon Holmes and the two new folks surely will be helpful...!!! Please, bring in DJ Burns. Then we have a new dynasty... Denver Nuggets Family.
LOL at that time, nobody saying that trade PG13 - shai and picks was imbalance.... at that time, everybody was mentioning that there were too many picks, which is of course a good sign, but still not guarantee that OKC will get a great player... well they could used those picks to get a great player also.. but also that time, nobody is saying shai will be THAT GUY.. THAT GUY means "THAT GUY." if you know what i mean... but here we are, and shai is now a candidate for MVP... of course everybody will be saying now that trade is disastrous...
@@doms5755 people talk in hindsight as if they knew who won or lose on these trades like they knew the future… then after a year or two, they be like, “thats the worst trade of all mankind including the barter system”
I can’t stand this “wasting talent timeframe” talk. There are only so many spots, smh. Only a few players are always moving around. This isn’t the NFL! So yeah you’re gonna have players who might get a crack or 3 to win it all, (see Barkley, Charles). It is. It NBA canon that every star or team is going to win a championship. But some of y’all go to church and say amen to everything, might as well believe this too, 😂.
I think replacing Reggie Jackson with Westbrook is a plus honestly but they will miss KCP for sure. They need to pickup Malik Beasley for that shooting and defense.
