Kerr is playing the right combination of players. Some of these guys are superstars on their teams but when your team doesn’t need you to take 25 shots and score 30 points you have to contribute in different ways. Bam and AD are both better defensive fits and both of them are more mobile. They fit better than Embiid.

Hakeem could have played for Nigeria but decided to join the US and got a lot of heat for this. USA will still have a gold medal with or without Embiid. However Cameroon without Embiid can't even make it to the Olympic. That why so many african are upset. Embiid also bargained the French citizenship to play for them but turn around a join the US once he used the French citizenship joker Card to put pressure on the US...This guy is a snake

Is the state of basketball this pathetic to where the USA is now winning games by 26 and 17 and now the manner in which it’s done is questioned? Yes it is. First , the complaint was that they beat Serbia and Canada pretty well but they are not still considered better than the dream team. Then , they win by 6, 1, and 4 to Australia , Sudan, and Germany which is not enough so the complaint is that they suck Now they win by 26 and 17 and the complaint is that all the players were not used. I remember just a week ago we were questioning if we could secure gold. Now the narrative has switched to players who haven’t spoken. Taking a back seat to build chemistry because we won out first 2 convincingly. I think these games do make nba players sharper for guys like Jt and embiid who teams are talented but not necessarily dominant.

Embiid doesn't look 100% but team USA needed some Biggs on the team. I also think Embiid wanted to be on the team Injured or not since he knew with group of players would be heavy favorites to win gold. Even the French fan base wasn't too happy that he chose to play for team USA. He just took the easier path to gold or better odds over playing for the French Embiid is 30 years old and by time the next Olympics come around he will be a lot older, and he is always injured and so there is no tell ing what shape he will be in at that time, so he might even be picked to be on team USA.

He needs to pass ball run, someone has to do some screens, he receives the ball and shoot. This is fiba there is no time for such plays. His colleagues have to know him. 3. He is not so efficient. Embiid has had a history of injuries due to his conditioning and dieting but to be fair the eye injury he had and Kuminga falling on his leg this past year wasn’t his fault.
This is a horrible take. How can they say embiid is playing the worst on the team? Before the serbia game he dominated. He had 15 a team high 8 rebounds and a team high 5 assists against Germany..And before that he cooked south sudan for 14 and 7 with a +15 plus minus. What are they talking about?

After he shook some rust off in the first couple SCRIMMAGES he’s just been overall decent at worst. Outside of bron and KD, no one has been notably better than him. He destroyed them the first time and was a +15.. Sudan came back in the game at the end when embiid went to the bench..

I agree with Broussard. I bet Kerr talked to Embid, and they agreed he wouldn't play, and that makes the Tatum thing better.
