I’ve passed my driving test two weeks ago! I was so scared driving alone for the first time ever in my life! My heart was pounding and my mouth literally dried bone! I’m now less scared being out alone and I felt relaxed! 😀
The more you drive the more you improve your confidence! 👍 Nobody is perfect at driving, all you got to do is do your best and look out for other road users of what they tend to do. 👍
Just drove today on my own, I was anxious but it was fun. There's a lot of bullshit in driving, the learning, the test, getting new car, insurance, and maintenance, and everything else. I feel I've just started the second stage of the driving process, and I'm learning again but without instructor. The good thing is that I don't have to set up the car every time now like I did when I was learning.
One thing I hate about UK roads, they're so damn narrow. My Brother whose living in the US for over a decade now, wonders how he even drove in the UK cuz the roads over there are so wide.
When I passed my test I started to talk to my mate. Looking across I realised I was alone. 😱🤣🤣🤣🤣 I passed first time but in 1981 driving was less busy then, but my dad made me learn in the North York moors with some really steep hills (like chimney bank part 33% gradient) you will soon get used to it.👍👍
i passed a few days ago and just drove alone for the first time today, it was crazyyyyyyy. I didn't really go anywhere, just round the block, cause thats what they say its best to do, but it was still so weird to be completely alone in the car
I’m German and I remember when I was driving my first time alone I went on the Autobahn and drove my car at full speed (200+ kmh)😂. I wasn’t scared at all because I was regularly driving 200-230kmh in driving school
Just passed my test on tuesday and im going to be driving my dads tt as the insurance starts on friday! Am so excited and it is going to be weird driving alone. Within the space of 3 month i watched this video like 5 times lol but yeah nice video man

This why I say, get a car when you’re doing your driving lessons so after lessons you can practice and get someone to watch you then after you will get comfortable in your own car that when u pass, it will be easy to drive alone

The insurance is actuall VERY good because it has an automatic braking system sensor on the front of the car which lowers premiums. I got insured for £1,500 without a black box.
Honestly it’s not as bad as you think. They have a safety sensor at the front of the car that lowers the insurance group by a lot so it’s not much more than a fiesta of a similar age.
