You can really see the weight loss, good job Adam. I'm on a journey myself, lost 50lbs since January I want to lose another 30 by Christmas. You are 👍an inspiration buddy keep it up.
HEY ATW... TODAY'S EPISODE REMINDS ME OF THE EARLY days of the worldwide panic and you were doing fast food reviews. That time gave you the chance to hone your craft concerning food and/or restaurant reviews, so that now it comes off like second nature much like Ted Koppel reporting from an conflict zone. Carl's Jr. "Western Bacon Cheeseburger" looks like a contender for the burger you grabbed. More food reviews!
I absolutely love the variety in your content. More than half the joy of watching your videos is the anticipation of where and what you will be filming next. Hope all is well and continued success, my 🙏🤘friend
I like that people are being positively communicative with you. I don't know where there's a Fatburger in Oregon. I'm interested in trying it. Maybe sometime you could film trying their breakfast as well. Might be a good breakfast.
I must have lived a sheltered life . I've never seen a person eating fries with mustard . Up here in northern Canada it's not a thing . Have to try it now .
Adam! This is an epic location! Thanks for featuring this. We used to take the kids to Knotts like 6-8 times a year. And this was our go-to after the park. Delicious memories! Thanks!
I love Adam's food reviews. Awesome! I'm glad he chose a hamburger. I've said it more than once but I'm going to say it again, I'm so glad Adam understands that natural ambience is all the music we need in a video. I enjoyed listening to the traffic in the background. Much appreciated!
Wow A.T.W , Adam your weight loss is very motivating. I'm not able to physically do what you do but it is great you know the balance of treating yourself and don't over do it. You are the great story teller and now Dean of weight loss schooling. Congratulations. Mega.
There’s actually a Fatburger going south off I-75, Gibsonton Rd exit outside of Tampa. It just opened a few months ago. Hadn’t tried it yet though. FB gives me that Vegas, West Coast vibe.
It is funny because people may think "Hey look at that weirdo over there talking to his camera!" but then they see how many people enjoy these videos. lol. I love how calm you are when you talk to the people. Quiet confidence. :)
I grew up going to Fatburger! They were all over the valley and the burgers were really tatsy. Watching you bite into the burger is making my mouth water!! I think you can also add a fried egg and chili....omg now I gotta go get one lmao😋😉
Adam, that burger looked so good as did the fries, cookie and shake! Really enjoyed your awesome video! I wish I could quit lol but, it'd be too hard for me. YOU ROCK! Can't wait till your next vlog
Tampa Jay did a video about the first Fatburger in Florida, in Tampa. He mentioned another is planned for Celebration. I was waiting for you to mention that. I just wanted you to know.
Dude... Ive been following and watching your shows for a long long time. Was great to find someone who was interested in things I was interested in. Back to the Future, Movies, Music, Food. I was particularly interested in watching the last walking tour of Warner Ranch, and then you snuck over for a look after some of the demo. So sad to see that movie history being gone forever. Glad you documented it. I also really enjoyed the Laurie Strode House walk-through. Ive been outside the house a few times, and was surprised I missed some Halloween history that I will follow up with later on. Thanks for what you do
Adam you look so good!! You are doing great!🧡 I think you do need to hit up in n out before you go back to Florida at the least you can do a protein style if you’re not wanting the carbs. In my opinion there’s nothing like an in n out burger! Stay safe Adam 🧡
awesome to check on you and see you so healthy man its good to eat some good food when you work out and take care of your body you can def enjoy it. Thanks man. Inspiring.
“But I fly to Fatburger when I’m way out west..check it” Beastie Boys is what got me to try them. I agree, In-N-Out is better, but Fatburger isn’t bad.
All are good... but I too prefer In-N-Out over Fatburger and Steak and Shake. Some people do not like In-N-Out fries, as they are just a fresh real potato. However, since we have gotten them "Well, Well, Well done" (three Wells) or simply "burn em", that turned out to be our favorite fries. they are crispy like a potato chip, or a Shoestring potato if you know what those are.
I used to eat at this particular location quite often when they had the Tuesday deal. From what I heard, it has a new owner. This video makes me want to go back! For those who never have been to Fatburger… keep in mind that it’s pretty pricey. Especially if you get any “add-ons”. PS, the shakes are indeed great!
Since you are in Southern California I cannot reiterate I really miss your food reviews and once you go to the North woods Inn I can guarantee you you will more than look forward to coming home to Southern California for the best garlic bread the best iceberg salad the best red cabbage salad the best twice baked potato and the best steak you've ever had in your life! This is fly your mom and dad worthy out to California! It's that good! San Gabriel, Covina, and La Mirada is right off the five there's a in and out across from it you can't miss it it's got snow icicles it's a log Lodge and it's sawdust on the floor the peanuts you eat the waitress will demand that you throw the shells on the floor it's a very casual place the best food on this planet! I have been going to the Covina location since I was three or four my grandparents would take me and my parents and I would go to the La Mirada location. Thank you for sharing this great food review!
Fatburger really is the closest thing to a homemade hamburger. I always get the original Fatburger, skinny fries and the Maui Banana Shake. Just the perfect combination! Original Tommy's and Carney's (both favorites of us LA natives) as alternates.
Adam’s got lots of fans in the drive-through. 😂. I’m from the Midwest, so I’ve never had Whataburger, Fatburger, or In n Out Burger. I feel like I’m missing out !
It's definitely more expensive in California in general but Fatburger is notorious for its crazy prices. I've been to this exact one since I was a kid and the prices have always been high.
Living literally across the street from there, I can Honestly say.. Yes it is a Busy, and Loud street. Fun Fact.. Magic Johnson once was a owner of Fat Burger. I believe he sold his share it it.🍔
Maybe it was sitting outside but this reminded me of your 2020 reviews like Jolliebee. Weird nostalgia feelings. Should have thrown an egg on it - I get it, the egg is a lot - but it really makes the Fatburger. Also the Steak and Shake comparison is on the money.
The I and out is great. We finally got one here in Colorado! We have a steak & shake, but I’ve never tried it. We have a Freddys, that I eat at and they say it’s similar to the steak ‘n Shake! Enjoyed your vlog. I’d never heard of this burger so I learned something new today thank you AdamThe Woo
Man, Fatburger about 20 years ago before they changed anything was perfect... When I moved to Cali in '88, one of my first outings with friends I made working at Disneyland was a concert in LA. To introduce me to SoCal culture, they told me we'd hit Fatburger before the concert, and then In 'N Out after. We went to one of the LA locations the founder still owned that all the celebs would go to. Incredible food, and the restaurant had a ton of character. I used to eat at the Buena Park one when it first opened while the Buena Park Mall was still in its heyday. KingBurger (8 oz. patty) was still about $3 back then. Prior to 2003, the burgers were perfect -- I'd order them "on the char" -- worth the extra 7 minutes. But in 2005, they changed the buns... then the cheeses... and etc. etc. They're still good now, but they were great then. Fun fact: Magic Johnson bought the chain in 2001 and sold it in 2003 because he wanted to focus on urban development and management wanted to go more upscale and aggressively expand.
I love Fatburger! It's been a popular favorite here in SoCal since the 1950s. Queen Latifah franchised a few locations in Florida about 15 years ago, including South Beach, but I think they all closed. Now, someone else is opening four in Tampa and 10 in the Orlando area, so hopefully they will catch on this time.
I haven’t been to a Fatburger in a good while. My go to order use to be a double fat cooked on the char, topped with relish. Sometimes with a fried egg. Fat fries and a coke. I’d choose them over Five Guys but INO is still my favorite.
Oh man. I wish I knew you were there on Friday night. I was leaving the Knotts Parking lot with my kids after 8 pm and I usually go out the exit on La Palma and make a u-turn at the intersection with Stanton to get on the freeway down Beach Blvd but there were too many cars heading that direction when I left so I went out the Stanton exit by the mall & Soak City instead. I grew up right across from Independence Hall and (later Soak City when I was in college) on the block of houses on Stanton a few doors down from the two story house that everyone thinks is a church. Anyways those bird statues are from the diner restaurant that was there before Fat Burger opened there. It was previously known as Pete’s Place. That smell of charbroiled burgers in the air always takes me home whenever I’m back in my old neighborhood visiting my folks or taking my kids to Knotts for the day. There’s only one local chains of restaurants around OC that was better than In & Out in my opinion called Knollwoods but most of them went out of business after the Great Recession. Now I live in Long Beach and have In & Out, Five Guys and Burger Shack all within a one block radius of each other and In & Out is still by far the best burger chain anywhere but Fat Burger does make a good burger but nothing except for Knollwoods (RIP) beats In & Out hands down.
Oh btw in case you were wondering, no that wasn’t me yelling at you from the car window but I would have if I had seen you there and probably pulled over into the parking lot to finally shake your hand after watching your videos for years now.
I love Fatburger. I was disappointed that the fact a black woman started the hamburger stand was not mentioned. According to Wikipedia: Fatburger was founded by Lovie Yancey (1912-2008) in the neighborhood of Exposition Park in Los Angeles, California, in 1947. It was originally named "Mr. Fatburger" (on behalf of Yancey's boyfriend), until Yancey removed the "Mr." in 1952. At that time, she bought out her start-up partners and retained sole ownership of the Fatburger brand until 1990, keeping and operating the original store on Western Avenue along with the La Cienega Boulevard store (La Cienega/San Vicente). Nevertheless, thanks, sir. Your vlog is always fun and entertaining.
I love how everyone was stopping to say hi as Adam was recording this! We have Fatburger in Canada and I’ve never tried it lol.. Five Guys is better or so I’ve heard!
If you’re ever in the Santa Monica area there is a place called the apple pan that has pretty good burgers and it’s old school style joint. They serve the cola in the cone style cups
My favorite. If I’m craving that. Carl’s Jr. The super star. Double patty. And don’t eat right away. Let it sit for 10mins. Because the juicy part is great. I love the mayo.
Oh man. I grew up in Irvine and there used to be a Fatburger off Jamboree and 405. Last meal I ate before I went into labor. I always thought it was the Fatburger that made me explode. Wish they were still here in OC.
There are Fatburgers in Canada. I made it a habit when travelling home from Edmonton after a work trip to hit Fatburger before the airport. The turkey burger is amazing.
