Today we visit the local night markets in Ubud to try 7 different street food dishes. We were hoping to find some spicy street food in Bali and the Ubud night markets didn't disappoint.
We love trying Indonesian food in Bali and supporting local businesses. At the Sayan night markets we saw so many dishes we'd never heard of before, if you're ever in the Ubud area we would highly recommend the night markets for an authentic Indonesian experience.

Thank you for eating from the local street food vendors. Mie (Noodle) Ayam(Chicken) is a standard dish. Just don't add any chili sauce to the dish before trying it. You can always add Kecap(the sweet dark soy sauce similar to hoisin sauce) if you want it a little sweeter. My husband is Indonesian and I have lived in Jakarta for 11 years. I hope you can continue to support the locals! Who knows, I might see you in a few weeks. I will be there on the 2nd Have fun.....and try everything at least once!

if you eat spicy don't forget to add soy sauce, the black sauce is called soy sauce and tastes sweet. then it can balance the spicy taste

Just few recommendations for good food in Bali, warung Bu Ning for suckling pig/nasi babi guling, warung Mak Beng for fish head soup and fried fish, Nasi ayam Bu Oki for nasi campur ayam Bali, Warung Liku for nasi ayam betutu. :-)

I think it will be fun if you try various exotic fruits in Bali. there are so many fruits that you may not have tried, and also in Bali there are some fruits that can only be found in Bali. You should go to Kerobokan in front of frestive and pepito kerobokan near seminyak. Many street foods and stalls there to try. Also I recommend to try Nasi Padang.

You guys should try Padang Rice, Rendang beef, Jengkol 😁, Sate, Durian, Fried rice, sweet martabak and egg martabak, soto, meat ball (bakso), stinky bean 😁 ( pete ), cendol / dawet, coconut ice, gado - gado, ketoprak, bubur ayam, seblak, and many more.. @@LloydandMandy The hotwater springs are lovely and wont be busy due to not very many tourists. and then there is a natural spring in singaraja..the locals swim there ..Air sanih natural swimming.Seeing the dolphins on sunrise is lovely too.Enjoy
