Lemon pepper will damn near give you instant diabetes! I've had all the flavors, surprisingly the Hawaiian flavor is the best to me. Seasoned fries ordered to well done is just crispy enough to not be soggy. Their sauces suck ass! Just my take.
I've been getting wingstop for a few years now, I always get the Original hot, half bone in, half boneless. I understand what flavor he isn't liking. It's the bone-in chicken, they have that specific taste Ben doesn't like. It must be the way they process it. Also im very sad that he barely touched his ranch :C
I'm so happy you got the experience Wingstop sometimes good sometimes it's bad I hate their fries LOL but they wings sauces be hitting. And I also like the Cajun corn 🌽
tried wingstop for the first time this winter quarter and i fell in love w it no joke LOOOL not a fan of the bone in wings but the boneless wings and the tenders have my heart its so crispy and tender, the fries as well . i order my meal on doordash and i got the same meal you did but for 13$, so affordable for a college student. next time maybe try the voodoofries
Although this review hurts me because I mess heavy with wingstop but I love that Ben is always truthful I do feel like the fried you got were bogus though a fresh wingstop fry with their seasoning is amazing
the runny sauces in my experience are typically to do a soybean oil base and the fats have decoagulated at room temp or even worse, above room temp because they were in the bag with the wings still hot out of the fryer. even if taken out of the bag and let rest at room temp on a table for a few minutes they will remain more runny than average because fats store heat for a while. I also don't want to have to wait for them to get cold in a fridge/freezer while my wings get cold just to enjoy the temperature differential that I prefer, but cold sauces for still-piping-hot wings is my favorite combination sorry Ben
Ben let me tell you, if you ever go to Sweden, you need to go to a McDonald's and get the Hot Wings. They are delicious. Only tried one wing better, and that was an indian restaurant that shut down. I have tried a lot of wings, a lot. Hot Wings are still the best. They exist in Spain as well, at least when I went there so try them out!
Definitely wish he hit the lemon pep! The crispiness of their boneless stuff is definitely good but I don't think he would've written off the bone in ones if he tried other flavors (or if he made sure to get them well done etc). I know the original hot tends to result in soggy wings when delivered.
I feel the same way about the original hot. Something is just off. The mild is a little better. I like to get a side of it and dip lemon pepper wings in it. And their ranch is AMAZING. Voodoo fries are good, Cajun corn dipped in their cheese sauce is also amazing. Pro tip-mix atomic with ranch for a delicious, spicy dip!
wingstop has always been 50/50 with me. You gotta get extra seasoning and to get them to cook it well done. Even then 50% it'll turn out okay, the other 50% it'll be missing out on seasoning tbh. Also I'm a firm believer in wings being breaded. Wing places that DONT bread their wings before they fry/sauce them have always been meh.
I like a dry-style garlic parm coating, and they have a Korean BBQ sauce that has the hint of bulgogi essence (it's also a 3-pepper level hot though, so be careful if you don't tolerate more than 2-pepper/medium heat).
Ben, I feel ya on the Wingstop... Not bad could be waaay better with a couple of tweaks. There is a WingStop about 4 miles from me and one about to open a mile from me. Yeah the bone-in are good but I would not go out of my way for them, dont have anything bad to say about them but they could be better.
I prefer Buffalo wild wings. The price is right, you can choose all flats, extra crispy or wet, the wings are big and free celery. Their other food is good too, I also buy their sauces for home but they don't have a lot of locations. I'll try wing stop again.
It looks good! The chicken and eggs are expensive becauce of the "bird flu". Ben definitely the deeper for the sauces for his food. The sauces do add the extra calories. 👍😋🍗🍟🍝
I always get the boneless garlic parm with a side of original hot, and its perfect lol! If i get bone-in wings, i get them well done and in the louisiana seasoning. Thats the only time they taste good and seasoned to me. Then, I get the atomic and bleu cheese on the side😆
good point about the runny ranch and bleu cheese. i feel the same. no excuse for the bleu cheese to be that runny. should be a lil thic. also the triple meal deal is the best value. too bad they dont offer it in my area anymore. shits expensive these days man 😭
trust me what you said about the tradition is true lol....for my mom and I we always go with mango habanero bone-in wings. If I want anything else I get boneless cuz the boneless can capture the flavor a lot better depending on the flavor.
I’d recommend to get boneless Hawaiian barbecue and garlic Parmesan. I wish the closest wingstop wasn’t an hour and a half away 😭 but still amazingggggg
Hey Ben Deen, the fries are a hit or miss depending on the location u go 2, u can ask for flats & fry a little longer,I like the lemon pepper, bbq & garlic Parmesan, take care❤
I really love wingstop but I definitely love real honest reactions and I totally respect Ben for actually being honest and not putting on a front like I have seen many people do. Very awesome video
