We have one prototype from years ago and people have been asking for more. As far as I know, there isn't one on the market. Maybe it's an opportunity for someone to make one!?

Oooh, good question. That is done when digitizing. Ask whoever is digitizing to have the sew file made that way.

That was a prototype from 20 or more years ago. They never produced any, maybe someone should start making them and selling them ;)

Great job John! Makes me want to try hats now! Really like the "newbie" perspective...helps to see someone try it in action...and hear the same reactions we make🥴🤪🤣😂💯🤷‍♀️. Question on laser placement...so it is always to the right of needle? How much so I can better center to a mark on fabric...or just match needle position to mark?

Thank you, that encourages me to make more vids! So Mike explained it to me as because the hat is curved the laser will be right of the needle a bit. To double check, I would still drop the needle where you want, then eye the laser mark, take a mental note and you should be able to replicate it through production. Hope that helps.

@@MelcoEmbroidery Yes that does , I get it now ! I was stitching out last night and when I pointed the laser it was center... But like you said the hat is curved and that’s what’s throwing the light beam got it! Thanks so much yes please keep the videos coming!

Haha, I knew someone was going to ask about that! Unfortunately that is 1 of 1. A company made one 15 years ago or so, and never pursued it further. Maybe a new business idea!?

Haha, it sure did go smoothly. There are so many different hats and different variables, I'm sure different styles could propose complications. I used hats from www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/63012473/ch-headwear-2020-catalog
