First Time Ever Hearing Adele - Rolling in the Deep (REACTION) 

This is a quote from Adele, "I taught myself how to sing by listening to Ella Fitzgerald for acrobatics and scales, Etta James for passion and Roberta Flack for control."

I love her. And I REALLY love the fact that she refuses to use any auto-tuning on her albums. She has a god-given, natural talent. I love the rawness of her voice!

How can anyone over the age of 12 not have ever have heard Adele??

Every now and then there are crystal clear voices that come along. For me, there was Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston and now Adele. I like "Skyfall" and "Rumor has it".

"Hello" still rips my heart out. And "Easy on Me" is glorious.

Adele is amazing and shes like 19 years old here!

Some facts about her : She is definitely one of the best singers of our generation. Her albums 21 and 25 are the best selling albums of the 21 st century. This song Rolling in the deep spent 64 insane weeks on Billboard Hot 100 and has sold 46M copies worldwide . She is the best selling artist of our generation by a huge margin Her album 25 is the fastest selling album ever with 3.38 mill copies sold in just a week in US alone. Only artist of this gen to have 2 albums sell 20M. She is Queen and King of Pure sales . People flock to buy her albums . Noone is close to her in this. Eg: Even after Billboard changed a lot of rules ,her new album 30 sold 850k+ in a week out of which 678k+ came from pure sales . 10 million + people waited to get tickets to her tour which sold out in 2 minutes. Present day her 2 days Hyde Park concert saw 1.3M people wait for concert ticket for 65000 tickets . In short she is the biggest Musical artist of our times.

She sings this live at Royal Albert Hall. That with the drums and piano is much much better. But showcases her pitch perfect voice.

When this hit the charts was the 1st I heard of Adele, been a big fan ever since. Such a powerful voice and lyrics. She not only sing, but plays multiple instruments and writes most of her own material. Got a record contract at 18 a week after graduating from a London performing arts school. You need to listen to the studio version.

Love Adele Another great British singer but from my era is Alison Moyet. Incredible voice - still going strong. She was in a band called Yazoo before going solo. Try 'All cried out' for some incredible vocals

I would absolutely 💯 love to see you react to the very first Adele song I ever heard. I don't think it was her "break-out" song, because not a lot of people to this day are familiar with it (at least, I haven't heard it mentioned very often). When I heard it I had no idea who she was, but I instantly knew I'd heard someone destined for greatness! The name of the song is "Chasing Pavements". It's STILL my favorite Adele song! Thank you!

She's great, great music and very fun to sing along to.

That setting is the best place to show off vocal ability as its not really set up for great acoustics and great singers can show off how great they are without all the electronic help. Adele does just that.

Her voice is so powerful she really needs some instruments behind her I think. There's a video of her doing this song live in a little studio, not sure where but it was possibly a radio station and they actually had instruments and back up singers. It was incredible. I love this song but didn't really care for this version. I felt it wasn't balanced. Those pipes can stream roll light backup.

I'm 74 & have always loved clear,well controlled voices,male & female. Adele is special. Some of her concert videos are enthralling. This clip just shows her raw talent (did I dare say raw !) Recordings are good but some of her concert work is great
