First time hearing! | 3 Generation Reaction | The Warning | Choke 

Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour, played at the MTV VMAs, and opened for Guns N’ Roses. They have shows planned in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina, for the Fall. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise, and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. They now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single, More, was released May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Any video from the August 2022 concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City is gold! When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist. When you fall down The Warning rabbit hole, you can’t go back!!

As mentioned already. The three versions of Enter Sandman is a great way to get to see their growth over the years, as a family rock band. They go from little 14, 12, and 9 yr olds just jamming at home, to full fledged 22-20-17 yr old rockers, on a massive stage playing a 2 hr sold out concert, 1.5 miles above sea level in their countries capitol. They evolved right in front of our eyes, and has been a thrill ride to witness. This is also the only cover song (even tho it is re-imagined) they do after transitioning to all originals only, many years ago. Looking forward to seeing more from you 3 ladies. 🤘⚡🤘

*a little history:* many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany, Pau [like "POW!"], and Ale [like "Ah lay"] aka "The Warning") since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... in 2014 a video of them doing a cover of Metallica's *Enter Sandman* from the "Black" album went viral... they did a few other covers but were also writing their own music, as well... they decided pretty early to not become known as a cover band... so they started releasing their own music... in 2021, DPA/TW answered a call from Metallica to take a song, any song, from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine *Enter Sandman* as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original... they did this in 10 days, during Covid, with Alessia working from remote in Canada... there are now three rendidtions of *Enter Sandman* done by DPA/TW... the original close to true cover that went viral, the OMV of the reimagined, and several of DPA/TW playing it in concert where it somehow comes out even darker and more foreboding bring almost constant chills to some fans when they hear or experience it... DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 3 and 5 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) wasn't even born yet... they started with piano and classical music... Ale also started on piano when she was old enough... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... the bass was Ale's second choice for an instrument... originally she wanted to play the harp... they couldn't find anyone to teach her harp, though, so the bass it is, to everyone's delight! her original 4-string bass was a 1/2 size bass which was still quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass... today, Ale has several bass guitars but she mostly plays her Specter 5-string... since she was 13 years old, Ale is a Specter Featured Artist... her Specter bass has a 35" neck on it and the coloring on the body is named "Ale's Inferno"... not long after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are, today... Pau is a powerful force behind her drums... in her younger days, she was likened to "Animal", the drummer on The Muppets... she put her entire body into every stroke... it was quite joyful watching her in action... she has refined her form in recent times but she still has a powerful swing and a much stronger sound... some like to say that "she beats her drums like they owe her money!" LOL since she has refined her form, she also doesn't break as many sticks as she used to... when she did break one, she seamlessly replaced it without losing a beat and many times no one ever even noticed... pure professionalism, there... in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... Pau also takes lead vocals on several songs while she is playing her drums... there are not very many singing drummers in the world, today... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old... Dany is a goofball and total guitar nerd... she has numerous guitars in her arsenal... PRS, Rick Toon Spearfish, Manson, Gibson Explorer (gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm), and more recently, a mustard yellow Manson was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse, one of the band's bigger influences... DPA/TW have covered several of Muse's songs and more recently they have opened for Muse in South America and in Europe numerous times... hearing Dany make her Mansons sing is quite the treat... especially when seeing them live... Dany is also the main lead singer for the group... she has quite a range and can growl or put gravel in her tone when needed... she easily expresses emotions with her voice and her facial expressions drive it all home while she is singing... Ale and Dany both use Orange Amps to drive their sound... the three of them, together, create a huge wall of sound that flat out pummels you when you see them live... today the girls are 23 (Dany - Jan 30 2000), 21 (Pau - Feb 5 2002), and 18 (Ale - Dec 13 2004)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City (2240m, 7350ft) is higher in altitude than Denver, Colorado (1609m, 5280ft)! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico (540m, 1770ft)... you can find that concert on DPA/TW's YT Videos page as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... the theater holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)... some huge milestones took place at the 2023 MTV VMAs... 1) The Warning were invited to play two of their songs on the Extended Stage... 2) they were the only ones to play that were not nominated for anything... that's quite an achievement! there were four takes shot... two 45 second ones for broadcast and two full length ones for each of their songs, *MORE* and *Evolve* which MTV has posted to their YT channel... DPA/TW have a working relationship with Pepsi in Mexico and have shot several commercials for them... this relationship plus being signed with Lava helped greatly with this milestone in their career, i'm sure... i still can't believe it has been 10 years! the rabbit hole is deep and quite enjoyable! come on in, there's plenty of room for more! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Pretty soon you will be flooded with comments from TWA(The Warning Army). Enjoy the rabbit hole, it's deep and wide. I would suggest a triple reaction starting in 2014 when they covered Enter Sandman at ages 14, 12, and 9. This video has over 24 million views on their RU-vid channel. Then in 2021 they were invited by Alessia Cara, a Canadian pop singer, to cover a song on the Metallica Blacklist Album. They pretty much wrote their own version which has an official music video and then finally they played it live at their best concert to date which has professional sound and video in 2022 at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City. Every song from this concert sounds amazing. Give them a listen and I'm sure you will enjoy.

Please keep reacting to them, they are known for having a very wide spectrum of fans from senior rockers to young children. Also you should check their bio documentaries and story, this band trascends music to become a role model on many aspects. And the point is that they never disappoint, all their songs are fantastic (and very diverse) You'll see that Paulina (Pau) on the drums often takes the lead on vocals while drumming (or playing the keys, as they all are classically trained on piano), and also has an awesome voice too ! Cherry on the cake, they all are real sweethearts, very accessible and close to their fanbase (I won't give you links, since I assume you'll soon get flooded with A LOT of them 🤣)

Currently, Ale(Bass) is 18 Pau(Drummer) is 21 and Dany(Guitar) is 23(their nicknames) and all classically trained piano musicians before they started playing(The Rock Band)… they formed in 2013 but been playing separately years before that and they started doing their favorite covers like “Enter Sandman” in 2014 and Metallica liked them.. then went to Berklee College of Music in 2015… they have been grinding for 10 years and have some of the best music ive heard in my generation… they are not your typical new school band and don’t sing about same stuff everyone else my age is singing about… they write about real things… 2017 ( 21 Century Blood) album is crazy good, a concept yall should check out is an album from 2018, (Queen of the Murder Scene) the live show at Lunario, and their new album (Error) is a great… on their channel they just dropped a big concert at CDMX from 2022… they played with Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses, Halestorm and others throughout the years… Lizzy Hale brought them on 2 tours last year and she gifted the older sister (Dany) a Gibson Explore because she felt inspired and that she was the future for front women in rock and every time they opened for Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless, they sounded like the headliner also gaining new fans… Lizzy believes these women are the future of rock just like the rest of us (The Warning Army)… a lot of their fans are older but they have younger fans like me… im the same age as Dany… most ppl like me that support say they bring true rock music back and not this new age bs… they are the best three piece band today

Both are fantastic, they’re much younger, you hear them talking about their journey and they perform some of their earlier songs. You’ll get a sense of how humble, good natured and mature they were as teenagers playing as an independent band. My favorite is from 2017. 🤘🏻

Their VMA show is worth a look. They did 2 songs "More", their newest single, and "Evolve", a killer rock song they usually close their shows with.

Pau often takes her shoes off to play the drums. As noted, they are fully bilingual in Spanish and English with little bits of French as in their song Amour. They even tossed in a word or two in Japanese for their song Queen of the Murder Scene which is the title track of their 2nd album. They have been a band for 10 years now even though they are fairly young still at 18, 21 and 23. The setting of this video is Victoria Records in Monterrey Mexico. They have an early EP and 3 studio albums already and are working on recording their 4th. It has just been a bit difficult to fit studio time into their touring schedule. They have done shows in North America and Europe but also have shows scheduled for South America coming up.

Being younger girls i think you will really enjoy diving into the warning, their songs and history. This song choke just scatches the surface. I think after u hear a couple more songs you will be addicted like tge rest of us ..ive been a fan for years and i csn say in 50 years ive never loved a band so much or liked every song they have put out. Personally i think you should check out the MTV awards performances next before anything else. They play their newest song MORE and a song off their most recent album EVOLVE . The two song show the range of music they play . Once your hooked from the MTV awards performance then you will enjoy diving into the deep rabbit hole of this awsome young band.

Great to see Ms. Donna enjoying hard rock. The Warning have 3 of their songs in Rock Band if I remember correctly. The elder sisters started playing the game as 8 & 6 year olds while the youngest who was 3 then could only clap in excitement. The Warning and Japanese band Lovebites flying the flag for female metal without losing any of their femininity. So empowering. The Warning have been honing their craft since an early age but it shows just what can be achieved with effort, practice and skill. Would love to see your reaction to Lovebites who are also amazing musicians (check out ‘Holy War’ live from Zepp diver City Tokyo). Particularly Lulu as she seems to have a liking for the heavier stuff.

Great reaction, welcome to The Warning and their army!! Their performance of Evolve at the MTV VMA's is incredible, check it out! Also they are fantastic when they are "live" on stage, their performances at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX are the best quality, except for MTV!!!
