Oh danggg I don't know why the Black Crowes haven't been suggested to you much earlier! I knew you would fall for these skinny long-haired whiteboys 😄 They are a modern band that makes good old-fashioned rock 'n roll. Check out their cover of Hard to Handle, it was their first big hit and the music video played like EVERY DAY on MTV and VH1 (when they played music videos).

Girl...one of my top three bands of all time. I've seen them so many times live, I really should have been a groupie. Yes, the Rolling Stones but also heavy influence from The Faces with Rod Stewert. They are a lot of fun...the singer and the lead guitar player are brothers who fight a whole lot. They are a jam band live and have a ton of soul blues goin on in their catalog. My fav song is a ballad...Wiser Time is just lyrically beautiful.

Another one of those great southern bands from Georgia {Marietta} just a few miles east of Atlanta! Used to see them all around different clubs & bars around ATL & Athens {GO DAWGS} in the mid/late 80s when they were known as Mr Crows Garden just before they hit it big! This is my favorite song by them, came out in 1992 & we all need a good REMEDY every day ✌💖☮

This was 1992. The early 90s were a huge 70s revival in music and fashion. This band was "accused" of mimicking the Rolling Stones, Humble Pie, and the Faces (Rod Stewart). They were one of a couple bands that tried to break us out of the Van HAlen 80s hair metal bands that all started sounding the same. The crowes have had members come and go, have split up (led by the singer and guitarist with red guitar Chris and Rich Robinson from Atlanta) many times because of brothers infighting and then got back together a couple years later to try again. The band was incredibly prevalent and had great out put from 1990 -1996, then the touring, fighting and substances starting wreaking havoc on this band. The Brothers rejoined over a year ago for one more try.

This is like some good, grooving ‘70s Southern rock. It’s got that feel and sound to it. And it’s got the sistas on background vocals for the chorus. I’m sure that guy is into the Stones. And yup, that’s the remedy he’s talking about.

Love me some Black Crowes! Another one of my favorites. Chris Robinson is the lead singer. Rich Robinson is in the red velvet on guitar. They are straight 🔥. They really never made a bad song and you’ve hit quite the rabbit hole. Check out She Talks to Angels, Wiser Time and Descending. Their songs are deep and have deep meaning.
