Seger was a master at connecting to his audiences. To me I thought Bob should of done much more blues type of music, he definitely had the soul for it. Bring on more of this great man's music!!!
The best part of the reactions you guys do is when Asia lifts her hands, closes her eyes and starts to move in her seat because you can really tell she's got music in her soul.
"Ain't Got No Money "; "Ramblin Gamblin Man", "Old Time Rock n Roll "; "Turn the Page"; ",-Night Moves"; "Kathmandu-Live"; "Her Stut". Bob Seger is the man.
I saw him in concert back in 1979,,,great show.half way threw he took his leather coat off sn swirled it around an threw it to the crow, man it brings back my early days thanx guys
Have been reintroduced to Bob Seger from these reactions, I had forgotten how much I loved him. What a voice, great story telling, and groovy beats. Love Bob
His "Live Bullet" album really shows off his voice and how great the band is. It's my favorite Seger album. " I've Been Working" and " Bo Didley" are two good ones from it. The whole album is really good.
Can’t go wrong with Bob. Dude is a Legend in Motown and his unique soulful, bluesy, rock and get down sound represents Motown well. Please do more Bob. Much More!!👍💯🔥 I’d definitely love to see “Hollywood Nights” and some more of his funkier songs. You guys ain’t even touched the funky stuff yet!!🧐😱 Bob and that awesome silver bullet band can put it on ya!! Keep it coming 💯
Bob Seger brings back childhood - early adult years memories more than anything. My parents listened to him so I had his music available all the time. This was probably the most rocking thing they listened to because it was mostly country around my household. Listening to him probably is what got me searching all genres to see what else I liked so in some ways he introduced me to harder rock, hip hop, and old school rap back when it wasn't old school for me.
The man charted 31 hits on the Billboard Hot 100....... Bob Segar knows how to connect with the soul! Another super funky hit is The Fire Down Below, a favorite of mine. Great reaction guys as usual. Love it when both of you start moving the body.
Oh my Asia and BJ, thank you, thank you for doing this Bob Seger song. It is rarely reacted to and what a loss. Now please try Her Strut for more Bob flavor.
Mmmmm... this is my JAM, right here! Lotsa great Bob tunes out there, love “Hollywood Nights”, “Shame On The Moon”, and “Fire Lake”, but this one is FIRE now, and it don’t make a difference if it’s a cover (though I love the original as well) but he knocked it outta the park in my book!
His Stranger in Town album is superb, Brave Strangers one of my favourite Bob Seger songs, fantastic! Still the Same and Feel Like a Number, two more Seger classics.
I have always loved Bob Seger and even after all these years, his music is as fresh as it was when I first heard it back in the 70’s! Never gets old. Other songs you might enjoy by Bob are “Mainstreet”, “Hollywood Nights”, “Ramblin’ gamblin’ man”, “Watch her Strut”, among others. Loved your reactions and you are hilarious B.J.!! You two are the best!!!
I personally know Bob Seger. My niece went to school with his son. He is a really down to earth guy. He still sounds good today. I grew up listening to him. This is a great song!
My friend's and I saw Seger and the Silver Bullet Band in 1986 at Madison Square Garden. The concert was SO FANTASIC, we scalped the tickets and saw them again two days later at Brendan Byrne Arena, East Rutherford, NJ.
Sunspot Baby, Katmandu, Feel Like A Number, The Fire Down Below, Her Strut, Betty Lou's Gettin Out Tonight, Horizontal Bop, Beautiful Loser, Hollywood Nights, the list goes on and on.
Bob Seger is my Freebie with my husband been in love with this man since I was 13 …. More than half my life this man and music has been in my life they thick and thin . We even had his song Famous Final Scene played at our Sons funeral…… KEEP ROCKING LOVE YOU GUYS
Oh yeah that brings back the good times ,you guys should check down on main street another great one from bob seger, love watching you guys great channel 👍
He's one of my top all time 3. Way to many good songs. Her strut, main street, beautiful loser, roll me away. Nine tonight, trying to love my life without you, Hollywood nights, still the same, old time rock and roll. Ramblin man, traveling man, roll me away, you'll accompany me, we've got tonight, fire lake, fire down below, rock and roll never forgets, shame on the moon, Kathmandu, feel like a number.....he's a GOAT in my book
The 1975 Cobo Hall concert in Detroit " Live Bullet" is the greatest Live Rock and Roll album ever made. I have owned it in every format made since 1975 and no album by any artist has beat it for the past 50 yrs.
BJ's got it covered Asia...with Plan A, B & C...I think all 3 are the same plan though ; ) LOL Loved it. Bob and Glenn Frey (from the Eagles) grew up in Detroit together back in the 50s/60s and were tight...Bob was a mentor to Glenn early on.
BJ and Asia Bob Seger was born and raised in Ann Arbor Michigan my parents and I seen Bob Seger in the 70s and concert he put on a great show he's about 75 years old now
He won a Grammy with Carlos Santana for a song called put your lights on. He was a member of house of pain, affiliated with Ice T, Cypress hill among others. His albums are amazing especially his debut.
Have I told you how much I enjoy your reactions??? Well....I love them!!! You too are so much fun to watch!! Gotta check out "Her Strut", "Mainstreet", "We've Got Tonight" and "You'll Accomp'ny Me" which are a few of my faves from Seger!!
Understand that Bob grew up not too far from Detroit, spent alot of time there and what your hearing is Motown here....listen to THAT voice! Proud to be from the D❗
I think the original was called "Come to Momma", sung by a blues princess, but Seger made it supercool without making it too white. Bob Seger is from Motown so he's got plenty of residual soul. So many of his songs are worth listening to but one of my personal favorites is SHAME ON THE MOON. Cheers! Love the channel, guys!
Bob Seger wrote the song in 1975 or 76, Sir. Etta James did a cover called "Come to Mama" in 2011. Also Lady Gaga did a totally different song called "Come to Mama".
@@jhamler1 They're not the same Lyrics and both songs were released in the same year. Come To Mama Song by Ann Peebles Overview Lyrics Videos Listen Lyrics If the sun goes behind a cloud And you feel it's gonna rain If the moon ain't shinin' bright And the stars the stars won't shine for you tonight If life gets hard to understand Your love life is out of hand Just come to mama Come up to mama If you need, a satisfier Let me be, let me be, let me be Your pacifier If you feel like your heart's breakin' into bits Call my number, five-six-eight-six-nine-six-nine, I'll give you a fix 'Cause I got your favorite toy Guaranteed to bring you joy Just come to mama Come up to mama If your soul is on fire Let me take you to my only heart's desire Just come to mama Come up to mama Just come to mama Come up to mama Bob Seger's Lyrics If the sun Ain't shinin' bright And the moon, the moon, the moon Won't shine for you tonight If the stars in the sky gone away And you feel, feelin' real low down today If life gets hard to understand And the whole thing is gettin'out of hand Come to Poppa Come see your Poppa If you need... a pacifier Call me anytime I'll try to be your satisfier If you feel like a horse blazin' at the bit Call my number anytime night or day I'll get your fix If life gets hard to understand If your life is way outta hand Come to Poppa Come see your Poppa If life gets hard to understand That the whole thing's gettin' way outta hand Come to Poppa Come see your Poppa Just come to me Come on to Poppa Said come to me They're very similar but not the same songs.
@@jessegreen6138 I don't know what you're trying to say, prove, or disprove. The song was written by Willie Mitchell and Earl Randle. Bob Seger put his own twist on the tempo and chord progressions and whatnot but that doesn't mean he wrote it. Period.
I saw Bob back in the mid 1970’s at Madison square garden awesome show! I suggest listening to katmando. Btw I love your reactions, an old 60 year old man! Love your interaction with each other!
Music I grew up with. I just love the younger generation’s appreciation and reactions to our old music. You bring a lot of joy to us rockin grannies out here. Thank you so much.
The fire down below....horizontal bop!!! Shame on the moon... you got it there boyfriend. Even though I am old enough to be your granny... I grew up on this stuff!!! To cool.
