Don't feel bad about crying for Spring Day. I cry every time I hear it. But the end of the song just gives so much hope, there's a reason why this song was still on the korean charts years after it first came out. Can't give you an actual hug, but please accept a virtual thoughtful hug :) I hope you also react to Save Me. The MV for Save me is a One Shot, so that's super cool and they also did a video for behind the scenes of filming it and that is really interesting to watch too.

Spring Day is such a moving song about missing someone. Yoongi's verse about the anger hits me so hard. The MV of Spring Day is what tied the song to the Sewol tragedy.

Yes, the link to the tragedy also has to do with the timing of its release. It has tremendous meaning to the people of Korea and that’s why it has not left the charts in Korea since it was released. It’s both a song about longing and sadness and missing a loved one, and a protest of the government corruption that created and tried to cover up the ferry tragedy, and it was so courageous of them to do that at a time they were still struggling and powerless as a group. They earned themselves a spot on a government blacklist but luckily that president was removed from office, partly spurred by protest of this tragedy.

BTS radiate pure love and positive energy. It is impossible not to have them touch your heart when they sing with such emotion. Your tears are beautiful because they are sincere. And everyone has a crush on Jimin. It’s called the Jimin Effect! He can steal your man, your woman, your grandparents and your pets! He’ll make you question your orientation. Luke, the reasons for the deep emotions underlying SPRING DAY will not become apparent until you watch the explanation video, of which there are several, but the one by the Italian ARMY is especially well done. Just be prepared to be horrified by one of the worst crimes of this century. BTS couldn’t express this in the lyrics or video for the song because they’re not supposed to be political, but it’s clear that it’s a real interpretation of this event. For example, the time on the clock in the laundromat when JUNGKOOK runs through is the exact time this event occurred. But it’s truly a beautiful song, written by RM, to help assuage the pain. Don’t worry, we’ll be right there with you when you’re watching the MV & explanation! And yes, wasn’t this a wonderful little mini-concert?! I’ve watched BTS’s TINY DESK CONCERT many many times and enjoy it every single time. The voices, the outfits, the live band, the fact that they couldn’t sit still and had to get up and bop around, the joy they get when performing these songs that they’ve sung thousands of times…it’s just great! Next you should watch the 2021 FESTA BTS ROOM LIVE. It gives you one-minute-long clips of 7 or 8 songs, one from each of their previous albums. Gives you a taste of things you’ll want to follow up on! A super video!

Sadly, this event mirrors a lot of tragedies around the world. Not to take away from it in any way but to express that those of us that have experienced similar tragedies in our countries and understand the inability of people to speak up against tyrant, the MV is a hopeful and comforting message they are sending to all of us.

Not supposed to be political? Are you forgetting “Am I wrong?” and the performance on television? Plus their many other songs about society including their debut song. I wouldn’t put it past them if in their new album they talk about the current political situation in S. Korea, with RM’s word play. The MV is a tribute to the tragedy but the song itself is about personal experiences from RM & Suga. It’s such a beautiful, touching and deeply personal song to me. I’m am also glad the MV brings to light what happened in the Sewol ferry tragedy so it and the lives lost are never forgotten.

I too share my love for BTS with my friends and they don't understand...or aren't moved enough yet to tap into their catalog of music to appreciate them. I have been Army since 2015…I am a very sensible person, logical, practical (I am a registered nurse, 26 years old, not a child), and my friends and family think my love for BTS is hilarious and ridiculous, I can’t speak about them at all, or share their music - it KILLS me, and that’s probably why I like watching reaction videos, when they are sincere, I feel like I am sharing BTS with friends - thank you 🙏💜💜

Ha yes….crushing on Jimin is absolutely acceptable! 😂💜💜Jimin is my bias and you are right- he is gorgeous inside and out-a truly a kind and loving human. 💜 The way he expresses emotions through his voice and dance is a beautiful thing to see and often makes me tear up too. 🥺 BTS has helped me release so many emotions that I had pent up for so long….it’s been a difficult journey but having these wonderful men and army by my side has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’m so glad you found them too.

Awww, we love you too! 💜 Speaking of love this is the pretty accurate Urban Dictionary definition of the Jimin effect 😂: "The Jimin Effect” refers to BTS‘s Jimin and is defined as a “short circuit that happens in the wiring of the brain when one first experiences a visual encounter with Park Jimin.” It will usually result in feelings of love and happiness but differs depending on what version of Jimin is encountered. If you encounter Mochi Jimin, the usual reaction is to grab the nearest person and demand how someone as adorable as Jimin can exist. If you encounter Sexy Jimin, then it is normal to pause while the brain tries to reconfigure everything they once thought about the world. This may last a few minutes or even hours, and it may result in becoming “frook shoken.” "Frook shoken" is a state of paralysis that occurs in the left brain of a heterosexual male upon his first visual encounter with BTS' Park Jimin. It is caused by a combination of shock, awe, and general confusion, and can last up to 9 hours. Symptoms include staring and/or rapid blinking, repetitions of the word "how" and a slackness of jaw which may result in drool. It is simply known as the Jimin Effect when it happens to straight females and homosexual males, but the added layer of confusion resulting in left brain paralysis is what makes "frook shoken" specific to the straight male subject. Snapping out of it will inevitably result in the victim asking "wtf just happened" but it is best if you wait a few hours to let his system recover before exposing him to Jimin again. The MV for Save Me was done in one take. On the first season of Bon Voyage, our boys were on a beach and just fooling around and they start doing the choreography for Save Me and it is being filmed from a drone overhead. And they are PERFECT! They make me cry every time too.

4:15 yes it's perfectly acceptable to love that man...thats the Jimin Effect lol...I'm so glad they found you right when you needed them - they make you so happy (most of the time, anyway lol). Aww Luke, sending you all the cuddles and warm hugs!! SD is an emotion jerker and it hits you harder when you know the story and watch their mv. It was a devastating event in South Korea and BTS did not let it slide for the unfairly treatment it received. One among their many other social awakening songs. They truly know what the power of music can do!

When I was first learning about BTS from my daughter, Spring Day would come on in the car and without knowing anything, it would bring me to tears. I literally didn’t know the lyrics or anything, but you can *feel* when they sing. As for the song- the story is more about the video, not necessarily when the song was written. We don’t know and based on what RM has said, it was written about missing a friend or someone but also about the story. It can mean what you want but the video is definitely about the event you will learn about. Have to add that this is just one of the examples of the amazing lyricism of RM. He’s a literally genius with lyrics and he does write something like more than 80% of their Korean lyrics. So many songs to learn about. For me, Zero O’Clock is another totally genius one. And yeah getting into BTS like this, it’s a sign of an open heart and they really are a just a conduit of joy and positive energy, even when it’s about difficult topics. They are really special, all 7, just destined to be who they are.

They make me so happy 💜 Also bro we warned u about Spring Day under every BTS reaction u did 😂 I also commented to get tissues on standby when u reacted lmao Now you need to react to the music video for Save Me, and the live performance of it’s sister song I’m Fine! That song was the ultimate comfort to the families of the victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy, and during the pandemic they performed it so many times in order for it to be a comfort for ARMY. You also need to react to Magic Shop, Zero O’clock (and it’s Tiny Tan animated performance), and Mikrokosmos! AND “DEAR CLASS OF 2020” BY RU-vid. I was graduating class of 2020 and that shit made me SOB. Covid took my graduation, gradbash, and prom, and BTS said u not being sad today honey 😭💜.

Omg this was so cute, they had me dancing and sing along to the three songs, the choice of songs sent e from being happy to sad and i went in a roller coaster of emotions. DynAMIte had me singing and dancing along and i so wanted to be that vinyl record so badly. Save Me had me in my feelings as i was smiling along, swaying and also Jimin, Tae and Jungkook dancing along to the chorus had me laughing so much. Spring Day i had a tear in my eye thru that song and the vocals during it had me in my feelings so badly. And dont get me started on their clothes, i mean Jiminie OMG i was just speechless and on a side note every members english has improved so much im just in love with it, also i love it when they perform with a live band as it just gives off another kind of vibe and its the best when they perform with a live band.

BTS sang Spring Day to ARMY very often during the intense times of the pandemic. It's so amazing how any of their songs can have meanings that fit so many different lives and situations. Even when their world tour got canceled and they were upset, they got right back to helping people who were suffering, they way they do best. Dynamite was made to bring people joy. They released "BE" their most recent album to give comfort. The best way to describe that album is like their personal diary in music form, and its single Life Goes On is really something special 💜Now restrictions are starting to be lifted, so they released the song Permission to Dance and are tentatively trying to do live concerts again for the first time in years. The future's looking brighter now, and I'm very excited for you to experience all those songs! 💜
