@@laurabailey1054 nope. Celine did it before Meatloaf. Meatloaf claims that Jim Steinman promised him the song but it turns out it was given to Celine. Meatloaf's own version of this song with Marion Raven was released in 2006 which is a decade after Celine released hers.

This song was the love theme from the movie "Up Close and Personal" and was sung in the past tense for a reason. Check out the movie and then listen to this song again. It takes on a whole new meaning. There are many great CD songs to explore. Her first here in the U.S. that I remember is "Where Does My Heart Beat Now?", also "Nothing Broken But My Heart", "If You Asked Me To", and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now." In addition, she did "Beauty and The Beast" with Peabo Bryson from the Disney movie and of course "My Heart Will Go On" from the movie "Titanic." The woman's voice is phenomenal!

I danced with my mom to this at my wedding as my dad had passed away in 1996. I also played this at her funeral in 2001. So glad you finally listened to this song.
