I still cant believe this is an impromptu performance straight up out of the audience with a band he had never performed with. Props to everyone involved.

Now you see what i mean and why I said his recordings are good but his lives are something else. Of you doing a chris stapleton reaction or listening to him on your own always try and find the live version. He has a live with Justin timberlake which is pretty cool. They sing drink you away and Tennessee Wiskey at the CMA's.. Imo chris stapleton's live version of Tennessee Wiskey is better then when justin sings it cause Chris can just hit some notes that Justin cant. I got nothing against just that man can sing too but not like chris.

Here's how it went: In 2013, Hoffman (of the trio The Shadowboxers) tweeted to Justin Timberlake asking him to check out their cover of his song "Pusher Love Girl". It caught his attention and Timberlake posted a tweet about the video. They met with Timberlake a couple of weeks later while he was touring and he offered to mentor them and help them shape their sound. Later, he signed them to his artist development label, Villa. So who is Justin good friends with? 😉 Chris - one of the band's influencers. The band had recently moved to Nashville from Atlanta & they headlined a two-night stand at the 400-capacity basement. That's just too cool. They wanted to play tribute to their influencers. The first night was funk night. They invited Chris Stapleton, whom the band had met only in passing and boldly invited via email. He graciously obliged & showed up to guest sing on James Brown's "It's a Man's Man's Man's World." It's true they didn't do intense practices to prepare it was more organic like you saw. Since that was his personal guitar, I'm guessing a quick sound check. Chris was definitely there to sing that song & boy, did he! The bands reaction said it all. ✌🎵❤ Reba McIntyre was invited to guest sing as well. She slayed it. 😍
You might as well have done a solo. I hope you realize that you had someone else next to you that can contribute! If you are a couple, act like it. Yes it's a man's world, but you wouldn't even be born without a women.
