Hey Twins! I love what you guys do here. I hope you feel appreciated becuase we all needed you this last year and a half ! You're really intergral for this community of gen z and beyond in an echo chamber of only being exposed to what they are already looking at (lookin at you tiktok). Its hard for people to see another perspective or get exposed to something out of their familial comfort zone... You are being open to opportunity and open minded and obviously have a huge passion to learn. It's incredibly indearing and you're really heroes preserving some little parts of music song by song and passing them along to a younger audience. A thought- something I think would be helpful for you and your audience would be to give context before the songs. Even something as simple as saying what year the song came out! I look them up almost every time like " oh yeah that was when"... then people who are learning about these incredibly important songs in music history, they can see how innovative or controversial or just bangin' it was at that time in the world. you dont have to explain anything but giving a timeframe would be so helpful for us art historical homies and everyone just wanting to learn what has happened in music before their life. Yall cover an incredible genre range and timeline, connecting all the examples of great songs would highlight the importance of music building on music and people building people. Heartwarming HiHat Heros you are. Keep it up.
