I remember getting told it constantly at school by teachers, including being called a “dismal blot” all the time by the history teacher. Funny coz I now earn more then all of them, well the ones that haven’t kicked the bucket yet that is.
And then you realize this man is bipolar, OCD, depression, and has Asperberger’s syndrome. He grew up with a mom who projected her pain onto Marshall who turned that into one of the greatest careers EVER. Eminem will one day be talked about like Elvis or Michael Jackson.
Don’t pass conjecture off as fact. Especially when Some of those are not even close to the mark, such as asperbegers. only thing we know is substance abuse, depression, and if we take his word (which most of us do) childhood trauma. OCD is speculation, usually attributed to the way he obsesses about language which is not at something we’d usually attribute to ocd and originating from a self-diagnosed in a rolling stones interview but it must be remembered that this came on the back of his drug recovery, and so may not be ocd at all. I think the asperbergs one comes from people not understanding asperbergs at all and misreading emenim’s humor for awkwardness and failures to read others.
Fax Eminem is The Michael Jackson Of Hip Hop And that’s why he’s my 2nd Favorite Artist Of All Time And MJ is first But he’s my Favorite Rapper Of All Time! The Goat Of Hip Hop Forever!🙇🏽♂️🐐✨💯
Mmlp 2 very publicly under rated. It's the albums hater ignore. This is a sleeper track and one of the early slim shady revamp tracks. BABY from the deluxe also🔥🔥🔥 The Orange scheme you missed Edit I use to always request the song back when most channel started with eminem. So here goes Nothing... BROTHER I WANNA SEE YOU REACT TO BABY. beware there are pitch changed versions on yt you don't need to f with
I came here to type the same comment. Criminally underrated album even though it has "Bad Guy" and "Rap God" on it! Plus many other great tracks! Makes me smile when I see others such as yourself give the album some praise :)
@@hoopwizardws BAD GUY and rap God. SO MUCH BETTER had me cracking up the first time. It's a very solid album. For me that's why revival didn't hit off the bat. I expected a slim shady album. EVIL TWIN
My mom has similar tendencies. You get through by realizing you don’t have to do it their way. Basically, everyday is Opposite Day. He said it straight out, they taught him what not to do.
One of my favourite like 'boom bap' tracks from him is Yah Yah--pretty much a dedication to hip hop, great verses by Black Thought and Denaun, great hook by Q-Tip and Royce
I mean for reaction the ones with bars are interesting. Plus the pb is Em' doesn't really make good sounding music so if his lyrics are not interesting it kinda sucks.
@@warnaoh Meh. Sounds good to me. Plus this track has a pretty dense rhyme scheme and uses other literary devises such as assonance etc and it tells a complete story.
Alot of other content creators have reacted to it b4, but I would to see you react to "Uncommon Valor" Vinny Paz and RA The Ruggedman One of the dopest songs ever made.
MrLboyd, I you haven't heard it before, you should check out Rhyme or Reason by Em. It's so choice, the production, the schemes, the switch ups, and it's got a whole vibe.
MMLP 2 isn't as full as many double meanings as his other albums that came after. If you're looking for a bar heavy track with lyrics to break down, A**hole has a lot from MMLP2
@@whenyounutinhermouthandshe that is debatable, I feel he had his best rap voice, on this album.. lyrically Revival imo is his best with substance, doubles or triples I’d go for MTBMB, flows I’d go with MMLP2 or Kamikaze
@@what9746 lmao revival with best substance😂 literally has like 3 relationship tracks, heat, remind me, etc lol. Revival is trash in every sense of the word. If it was just, WOW, Believe, Bad husband, Framed, In your head, Castle, & Arose than it would've been a really good album. Cause those are the only songs with genuinely good subject matter & execution. All the other songs are either recycled relationship songs, songs with mid beats & corny bars, or songs with good ideas/concepts executed poorly
I think there’s a throwback/callback to the Slim Shady LP here. There, you had the track ‘Brain Damage’, dealing with similar topics (his abusive upbringing) via similar themes (a brain not working right). IIRC, that track was the first mention of Em’s school bully nemesis D’Angelo Bailey (who you mentioned in the reaction).
Grieves "Unedible". Best lyricist best verse of any song you can break this song down king of the under ground (Great lyrics “Cellophane my heart to pull the knife out of my back from you”)
How could I forget Scar Gardens it’s right there with unedible “what it’s like inside the world i keep a lock on. purple hearted scar garden harvesting my thoughts song”
A song I'm living at the minute while not bar heavy as such it allows a lot of breaking down is kings never die. His first few opening lines are incredible
My mum said this to me on a daily basis and this isn’t degrading well I diddnt see it as such I see it as a reminder that I could be bigger than my intentions and I’m too stupid to realise it but if I put my mind to it I could take over and crush the world
Evil twin is another track off the same album and has more bars to break down (love the joker/ledger bar). Big fan of Em and Evil twin is one of my favorites. New Subscriber, love the content!
Just here to say Eminem has A LOT of boom bap songs in fact. And also, most of the times Eminem will come with something impressive, sometimes it will be the bars, the cadence, tone dynamics, schemes, internal rhymes or masterful wordplay. Not everything has to be as dense as Alfred's Theme when it comes to pure bars, and I think it is for the better. I mean this track is great how it is and it gets better with every listen, if it was made different I wouldn't FEEL it the same way. It has passion and anger in his voice, the delivery is flawless to me. I love when Eminem wants to get complex in that way, but I also love when I get him to tell a story that brings up so many emotions and vibes. A well written one, like Stan (the full and uncensored version, OF COURSE...). But well, that's how I see it- genius story telling. Like you felt Lil Peep, if you end up just wanting bars you won't be actually listening to the music and going with its flow. And I think that would be a shame since you are not only smart, you know how to engage with substance music. Not everything is bars the same way not everything is the instrumental. Give the good music some time to sit, if not this seems more of a fast food music channel- "listened, moving on". Just don't miss his story telling, you'd be missing a huge part of what Eminem is. Sorry for the large text and for any mistakes as I'm not english. Anyways, taking another example, Rabbit Run is an inmense track. Listen to New Dawn Fades by Joy Division. One of my fav. bands, new wave/post-punk, sad and melancholic.
Amigo and the devil- hell and you (great lyric “'Cause home is the last place that I'd stand To be with anyone but you”) love song or cocaine and Abel (great lyric “And time is impatience No, patience takes time”) personal growth song. I can’t decide I love both of them
My mother told me "if you had a brain you'd be dangerous" numerous times, although I think it was mainly said in jest. To be fair to her though she knew I was probably dangerous given that as a wean I was very smart but often acted impulsively like a child does, as a result my parents refused to get me a Chemistry set I wanted for Christmas(they overheard me telling my brother the components needed to make TNT and panicked, even though those components weren't in the set I wanted😂) they also refused to get me a kids Tool Kit thing I wanted after I borrowed my father's hammer and made a Crossbow to shoot clothes pegs at the neighbours and made a johnny popper.

Hi I'm fairly new to your channel and enjoy your reactions. I would like to give you a recommendation. Colin James he is a Canadian artist that isn't well known here, which confuses me he is very talented. I'm making it my mission to get people to give his music a taste. My two favorites are Far Away Like A Radio and Man's Gotta Be A Stone. I know you won't see anyone else but me mentioning him, but sometimes you find the best music hidden.
