"Kill You" is hilarious. I'm not sure if Jay will appreciate the humor tho...his Mom looks like an angel n it would be more of a shock than anything 😱🤔
@@michaelbrown17 no it didn't. Full time acting and makes more money then Em ever made. Where's Em now btw? Will still raking in the cash laughing all the way to the bank.😂
@@thefluffycarrot6414 I know. Some of the tracks I've seen him put up would have been heard in th artic never mind by a guy who's meant to be a hip hop fan
"The Rain" - Orang "Juice" Jones 🤣Remember this song y'all? 👇 "I saw you (& him) walking in the rain - You were holding hands & I'll never be the same"
I was joking with a female friend about 10 years ago & said " I know you were out with a guy last night. I saw you & him walking in the rain." She replied "Yeah we were holding hands too."
Amazing how many artists you review that I saw in concert. Eminem is actually the artist I’ve seen the most times. I went to the Eminem Show in Chicago by myself. Did not want to leave to stage area so I didn’t drink anything basically all day. Passed out on my face in the middle of the open floor area while all the lights were up and the were setting up for Ludacris. I came to surrounded by security who did not believe that I was not on something. I had to sign a release to be allowed back and I missed almost all of Ludacris. Crazy thing was that because of my wristband I had no problem getting right back up front so I could have gone to the bathroom. I am so grateful that cell phones just weren’t what they are today. They were just phones that made phone calls and they didn’t allow cameras. I’m sure there is archived footage somewhere lol. I can remember that day like it was yesterday.
@@flickmew99 one hell of a crazy night. I go back-and-forth from wishing somebody caught it on tape somewhere and being grateful that even if they did no one will probably ever see it.
Don’t understand why people can’t believe that someone’s never heard a certain type of music. There are people that don’t listen to country, there are people that don’t listen to rock, there are people that don’t listen to rap. There are people that have never heard certain music because they are too young to have heard it.
Just found your channel today, love it! Currently three hours in watching your reactions. Great music choices, love that you listen to all kinds of genres!
@JayveeTV yeah there's a video about this song actually Eminem wrote the entire song every lyric and he intended it for Dre and Snoop Dogg to perform it. But one Dre heard the song and started putting it on wax he knew that Eminem had to do the his verse and even though Eminem wrote the lyrics for Dre and Snoop. Now thinking about it maybe that's why Snoop Dogg is still so bitter...hahahah😂 (I'll see if I can find the link to the video and I'll edit it into here).
Me and my brother always tried to see who could do this song without missing words.... He eventually got it but long after me... I still know every word...at 40... Still love this song... don't like the radio edit... though.. it's not the same!
Docs beats (not the headphones, haven't owned any am too poor) are insane. Love the sound of hip hop from that time. The melodies, the synth strings - everything. God they were good times, even here in Eastern-Europe
The best bars are missing!? Harder than me trying to park a humongous truck, when I'm drunk as fuck. Jumping out with two broken legs trying to walk it off. (or something like that).
Try Eminem-"Biterphobia" it's completely different from his stuff now and his Slim Shady/Marshal Mathers era it's before then It's more like oldschool Hip-Hop. Or Eminem's band D12- "Purple Hills" is a nostalgic song from them
When he says the line, When my last CD was out, you wasn't bumpin' me. Before this, he produced an album called The Aftermath. It wasn't so much a Dr. Dre album. He was only the lead MC on one rap, and was featured in a couple others, but it was made more so to feature up & coming rappers. I have the CD. It wasn't terrible, but not great either. It didn't do as good as Dr. Dre had been known to do in the past, so he didn't get much love for it. So Forgot About Dre, from his "2001" album, was meant to show that he hadn't lost his touch. Dre's one of the best producers in the business. His beats can get anybody's head bobbin'.
I've always seen so many similarities between hardcore rap and heavy metal, both are demonized by pop and main stream and both when you look closely they tell similar stories. I'm surprised they haven't reached out to each other before now to be perfectly honest.
You’re 50% right. When Dre left “Death Row” and created his own label called “Aftermath” and he released a song “Been There Done That” which was totally different from his gangsta rap. He got dragged for it. His wife told him look go ahead and do your thing say bitches and hoes and talk guns ( he didn’t want to be disrespectful to his wife or his daughter) so he did. Eminem needed Dre but Dre needed Eminem more. So they got together then he made up with Dre and the rest is I’m sure you know.
Also at this time I’m sure he was working with beats headphones I’m in a normal person could retire on that headphone money but because his name was attached, ta-da
Hi from the UK, would love you to react to, JENNIFER RUSH,,,the power of love JAMES BLUNT,,,,,,,,MONSTERS LADY GAGA,,, any of her music, but early music took everyone by surprise , well the videos blew the rest out of the water . , ,
PLEASE do “I Need A Doctor” with Dr.Dre and Eminem 🔥🔥 Also, I hope you go down the amazing journey that is Eminem’s music because he is one of my favorite artists. ♥️
I have been trying to get people to react to Digable Planets for awhile. I have seen a very small few do it. Another great song of theirs Nickel Bag of Funk
@@rickwelch8464 One of Ems edgiest lyrics IMO was "I'm hotter than a set of twin babies, in a Mercedes Benz, with the windows up, when the temp goes up, to the mid-80's"... Damn Em ... wtf lol.
I would recommend more of Dre's work from 2001, songs like What's the Difference and the Watcher are particularly good, and definitely check out more Ice Cube as you've only heard It was a Good Day and Straight Outta Compton, Really Doe and Amerikkkas Most Wanted are some of my favourites, and Tha Dogg Pound are another great hip-hop group you might like, anything off their Dogg Food album is fire. Edit: Also the D.O.C is a sometimes overlooked legend, he was associated with N.W.A and is in the Nuthin But a G Thang video, his No One Can Do It Better album is great.
Hitman is not part of the song back in the '80s they used to let the beat play on and people could loop it and use it to wrap over in the 90s and early 2000s music videos they would put a clip at the end for another artist to get exposure
I remember being like 13 and printing the lyrics out to this and thought I was SO cool that I memorized it and would rap along to the radio😅 I LOVE this song but I looked so dumb
So many hard lines from Dre on this! This is one of my permanent playlist songs, it never gets old to me! Awesome reaction and I need that shirt! (Big Pink Floyd fan too!)
He has lol he’s lying. All these “reaction” videos are. You’re telling me he has an ELO album cover in the background but doesn’t know forgot about Dre? 👍 🤣
cant believe you have only just heard most of these lol god i feel old now, i will still be listening to these in the next 20 years!. how old are you bro
