Everyone knows where she comes from. As a black womsn, I think it is more important for her to represent her roots. Her spirit and her class. We all know the country she lived. I remember exactly when I first heard this song. I was stuck in traffic and this new song came on the radio. I was never more grateful for traffic, it gave me the opportunity to just sit there and absorb it. I was blown away. It's still one of my favorite songs ever.
