I loved this album when it came out, Open up and Say .....Ahh; I remember they censored the coved. A girl in my high School class said you need to listen to "Look What the Cat Dragged In". I enjoyed that as well.

This song tells the same story as Welcome to the Jungle. Hard to believe that everyone has known this reality for decades yet it still happens everyday.

Tid bit: Anthony James, a well known character actor, played the sleazy agent in the video. He was known to play that sleezy type of character and appeared in a few Clint Eastwood films and the 2nd Naked Gun film (that's from where I recognized him).

C.C. DeVille, the guitarist is amazing, I always loved the sound of his guitar....oh he wrote/co-wrote the majority of Poisons songs.

Poison was a cool 80s Hard Rock band with recognizable hits but what made the band great was C.C. Deville on lead guitar. There are many more Poison songs for you to discover but please at least check out their song Life Goes On if not just for the killer guitar showing C.C. at his best! I saw them in concert when I was 18 and again in 2019 when I was 46 and they rocked both times!

Got to go to my very first concert at the age of 56, it was the Stadium Tour it opened with “Classless Act, followed by Joan Jett and the heartbreakers,then Poison..Brett Michaels Energy was thru the roof and he really got the whole stadium worked up in a great way, Poison was Incredible then came Motley Crue..Not as great as they used to be but hey we all get old… then to wrap it up was Def Leppard and they too were amazing!! I bought two tickets on the field and my little brother and I had a BLAST!!! Best 8 hour Father’s Day we ever had

If this song was in a new movie or series like Stranger Things, it would be huge and get a new lease of life

Poison has been my favorite band since 1987, I just wish they had put out more new music over the years. As for this song, it's one of their best both in message and music. I'd say it's 3rd on my Poison list with Ride The Wind being number 1 and I Won't Forget You being second. Thanks for doing this review!

Only to find out you’re replaceable. Love Poison and their music. C.C. Deville almost joined Stryper before joining Poison back in the day.

I saw them on the stadium tour with all the other rock bands and they stole the show, made all the other bands look like crap, even the headliner Motely Crue.

I only got into Poison after seeing Bret last summer. I couldn’t stand them for the longest time, but this song along with Ride the Wind are killer.

You don't have to be from a small town. I am from Chicago and one of the girls I knew from H.S. went to hollywood and ended up a drug addict proustite she came home shattered dreams and could live with what she became so she was gone about 2 months after coming home.

The bus stop we see at the end of the video looks alot like the bus stop from the opening of the "Welcome to the Jungle" video. I can almost imagine another bus pulling up after the new girl gets off the bus, and we then transition into the GnR video.

The best get scammed... Nevermind the Naive guy or girl with big dreams. What's scary is it's much more International...

Poison was great, but they never really get enough credit. My favorites by them are "Ride the Wind", and "Unskinny Bop".

My fave Poison song and the video is a classic... That kick in nads is iconic! Bret with the legendary Hollywood Taxi (I think it's a Harley Davidson Softail)... A true holy relic of rock!!

I remember actually getting through to 1800 DIAL MTV to vote for it once (daily top10). I was 14 and so excited. LOL. Normally just got a busy signal. My dad recognized the model's agent as been in a few shows he had seen. I found his name is Anthony James. I saw him in a rerun of Knight Rider trying to kidnap Jason Bateman. Ha

For my $$$, this is their best song, and is C.C.'s best solo. He had many back in the day but, this solo just compliments the lyrics and feeling of the song so well.

the story of this video was so common in Hollywood back in the day of metal bands. i used ot hang out there and saw this first hand. You Tube, tik tok , Instagram has given anyone now a chance for their 15 mins of fame no matter where you live in the world.

Poison’s best song in my opinion. Love that trashy, sleazy guitar sound that just rings out. The band was hair metal as it comes, but they had a certain honesty and work ethic to their music out of everyone else of the time period.

The Glam Metal scene was big in my High School days. The music, musicians/bands were class. I remember seeing Bon Jovi opening up fir Ratt back in the day. Crue, Dokken, Poison, etc... to many bands to mention. The 80s Metal/Hard Rock was the best 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤

I still remember the first time seeing them in 1986 opening for Ratt. Never had heard of them. When they came out I was like “who are these woman”! 😂 they had more make up on than the woman attending the show. They were good though.

Fallen Angel is a great song and Poison is a great rock and roll band that can still bring it live. Fallen Angel is a cool story telling video and I always enjoyed Poison adding their bigger than life stage persona in their videos. The massive stage, pyro, endless guitars, outfit changes all add to the video story. It's awesome to see 80s bands still out there rocking to old and new generations of fans. Great reaction video.

Burch, you probably encountered a bunch of these girls over the course of your career photographing bands. The prettiest blonde cheerleader from some small nick town in the Midwest who wants to go out west to ‘Make it’s and gets off the husnknly to realize that there’s 20,000 girls who look just like her, OR BETTER, with the same exact story, only so many are going to make it. And unfortunately , many of the ones that do, may be compelled to abandon some of those small town morals they were brought up with, just to try to be that one girl. At least in this video, our heroine gets to go home.

Hi Burch (I sent an email earlier this morning, please check it), I was one of those who always enjoyed Poison's first two albums. I was 14 or 15 when Open Up And Say Ahh came out, the album that this song is from. The girl in the video is Susie Hatton, who Bret dated and helped her start her music career. That had a single and video called "Blue Monday".

That girl's boyfriend, or whatever, played one of the badguys in the movie "High Plains Drifter" 😆

Great reaction, my fave Poison song. They really missed out on using this song at the start of Rock Of Ages movie, would have been an awesome song for that movie IMO!

The last shot, with the “Hollywood Taxi” painted on the gas tank, is the best 5 second pitch for a rom-com. You know when he asked her where she wanted to go, she said, “Lincoln, Nebraska.”

I loved the short intro to this video. But if you gave a "long intro" it probably would have prepared Alexis for the video. I like seeing reactions that are more cold. It makes for a better reaction. That being said, I love this song and video and I really liked Alexis' reaction to it (especially when the guy got kicked). Keep them coming guys and we'll keep watching them. Thank you.

One thing you can pretty much say is their videos are very colorful and entertaining. My son got the chance to meet Brett after his show somewhere near Dallas some years ago.
