Adam Rupp arranged this gorgeous, creative and unique version of this song. Brilliant. NO ONE does Christmas music better than Home Free! Oh Holy Night is fantastic, Mary Did You Know? is another exquisite version with Home Frees' unique touch. Great reaction.

Love your reaction. Oh Holly Night is so good. Time did the arrangement in high school or just after when he was in another group. It’s amazing. Also Snow Globe is so good and is a Home Free original Christmas song written by Tim. Hope you react to those.

I'd never cared for this song until I saw/heard them sing it - the arrangement, singing and harmonies are fantastic and the beatboxing is crazy. If you haven't seen "Mary Did You Know" - every time I've watched it I still get cold chills. Thanks for playing this & your analysis.

Adam did an amazing arrangement of this song! They definitely gave it a fresh feel. It was never a favorite of mine until Home Free did it. They are my go to for Christmas music, just ❤ these boys! Thanks for another fun reaction Nick and Merry Christmas! I would check out Joy To The World from 2013, gospel Rob does the lead and I see someone already suggest Warmest Winter.

Austin Brown is from my hometown, Tifton, Ga. His father still lives here. The group has performed here several times over the years to sold out shows. They are fabulous to hear live.

Adam Rupp's original introduction to this song got thoughtlessly deleted to be replaced by the standard tour date boilerplate. I managed to recover the introduction, which I believe gives some great insight to his thoughts on making this arrangement: On the surface, this arrangement of "Do You Hear What I Hear?" sparks the imagination with different musical themes, and brings life to several different scenes or imagery about the birth of Christ. However, a deeper understanding of the song reveals a call for peace in a chaotic violent world under the simple truth preached by Christ: love. Originally written during the Cuban missile crisis, a parallel can be drawn to any time when the world needs a reminder to love not hate. The theme of competing voices is echoed in the execution of the 4 different vocal parts that come to clarity at the 4th verse and unify with the same message in 5 octaves: "Listen to what I say. Pray for peace, people everywhere." - Adam Rupp

Never really cared for this song until Home Free's rendition. It's now on my Christmas play list. It's beautiful! Hope you listen to HF's versions of "Mary Did You Know", "Oh Holy Night" both are breath taking. For a holiday giggle try HF"s "Full of Cheer" and for a romantic Christmas interlude "Snow Globe" both of these last two are HF originals. Wishing you Merry Christmas and the most wonderful holiday season ever.

Some of their best harmonies are in How Great thou art and the official video is stunning. The songs they made through COVID are pretty awesome as well with some brilliant effects considering they were separated

Love this one! The arrangement is wonderful (Adam the beatboxer arranged it). I’m surprised the ice castle didn’t come crashing down with Tim’s lows! Adam was crazy good and I loved the wind sound too. All the guys did well. Love it Nick! 🥰

By the way, saw a little clip of the guys saying they won't let Adam do anymore arrangements, this apparently was one of the most complicated and hardest song they've recorded. 😂 leave it to our genius non human Adam. I really love this take,just like others are saying, this was never one of my most favorite Christmas songs, but this is such an amazing rendition of the song which makes it so unique! For me one of the best arranged songs, or perhaps the best, of Home Free. So impressive! The phenomenal beatboxing/vocal percussion , the overwhelming bass(notes), the great harmonies, the sound effects, colors, etc. in such a beautiful but cold scenery. I could listen and watch this all the time. A lot happens, but not that it is disturbing. Just amazing.

To me, Adam's arrangement of this song is the best arrangement of any Christmas song, ever. And I never really liked this song. Now I listen to it every morning to start my day out right. I suggest O Holy Night (arranged by Tim), Angels We Have Heard on High (arranged by Chris) or What Child Is This (also arranged by Chris and on his channel). All are gorgeous.

I HATED this song until I heard this version. Adam's talent is phenomenal. Now if he or one of the others could do an arrangement of the 12 Days of Christmas that would make me love it or even like it, they would be true miracle workers.

Perhaps my second least favorite Christmas song, one step above “Little Drummer Boy”, these guys have elevated it to one of my favorites! When you remove the trite, over repetition, and add talent and originality, a song becomes a different entity.
