FIRST TIME HEARING Hurts - Redemption | REACTION 

I honestly didn't realise they are still going. I bought their first 3 albums & really liked them. Guess I'm shopping tomorrow.

Thank you for picking a song by Hurts as one of today's reactions. They definitely deserve more attention. I guess they are more popular in Europe. I haven't checked the numbers but I think their debut album has been the most successful commercially, which is a shame.

Love Hurts, if you react to another song of theirs, I'd suggest Wonderful Life which was their first release I believe. There's a great remix of it too by 'The Freemasons'. There's also a song called Silver Lining on their first album which is fantastic. Incidentally, they also did a duet with Kylie Minogue called 'Devotion' which is worth checking out.

I remember clearly in 2011 they were playing their entire debut studio album, Happiness, in HMV. I was immediately sold cos there was no filler on the album. I remember asking what album the store was playing and was also struck by the album cover which looked a lot like the Pet Shop Boys. Every track is amazing! Later I had the privilege to see them perform an intimate show in Singapore and although they were relatively new, the turnout at the concert was excellent and the crowd super enthusiastic. The first album has the most hit singles - Wonderful Life, Stay, Sunday, Better Than Love and many more. Sal definitely needs to go back to their origins and react to one of their brilliant singles.
