Hi FAM, here is my humble reaction to JOHN DENVER - ANNIE'S SONG ( FIRST TIME HEARING) I hope you enjoy it. Thanks. #johndenveranniessong,#johndenveranniessongreaction,#johndenverreaction,#reaction,#johndenverreactionvideo
John Denver was a fantastic singer and song writer. He sounded just as good live as he did on the studio versions. He wrote this song in about 10 minutes on a ski lift after a row with his wife. If you like this you will love 'For You' (a love song) from his Wildlife Concert. He died far too young and the world is a lesser place because he is no longer in it.
He was one of few people I've met that was exactly what he seemed to be. A great guy. Strangely, I was at the place he died in Pacific Grove a few minutes after he hit the water. He died doing what he loved to do, flying his experimental plane. It's a shame to lose him so young but there are worse way to go.
John Denver was a great singer-songwriter & actor. He had so many hits in the 70's-80's. Some of his signature songs were "Take Me Home, Country Roads", "Rocky Mountain High", "Poems, Prayers & Promises", "Calypso", "Thank God I'm A Country Boy", "Sunshine On My Shoulders" etc. John appeared in several films & television specials during the 70's-80's, including the 1977 hit "Oh, God!", in which he starred alongside George Burns.
I could recommend a few other great songs of his. 1) MY Sweet Lady 2) Rocky Mountain High 3) Country Roads 4) Calypso 5) Thank God I'm a country boy 6) Sunshine on my shoulders 7) Leaving on a jet plane That should keep you busy for a while. ENJOY!
