They were all in transe, that night, but, Jimmy, was possesed by the devil himself, in DAZED AND CONFUSED 😂He lead the other demons of that band, to make, probably, the best concert ever, Led Zep Madison Square Garden, 1973, with JIMI HENDRIX, live at Woodstock 1969, Jimi Hendrix, Band of Gypsies1969/70(the new year eve shows),and Jimi Hendrix live at the L.A forum April 1969, Pink Floyd, the Wall live 1980/81, at Berlin, and live at Earls Court 1994, and Queen live at Wembley 1986....Those are the most MONSTRUOUS SHOWS I EVER SAW IN MY LIFE.....👍✌️But, in my opinion, if you watch the complete version of VOODOO CHILD, BY JIMI HENDRIX, LIVE AT WOODSTOCK (the 12:40 minutes full version), you will realize, that guy is unmatchable! Led Zep was the best band for sure, with their incredible telepathic link.....improvising.....But, JIMI HENDRIX IS THE FINAL MONSTER, OF OUR GALAXY! IT'S UNREAL, if you watch the 12:40 minutes long version of VOODOO CHILD at WOODSTOCK, you will understand.....

Listen to the original studio version when you get the chance. It doesn't have to be a reaction but it is a definite must because it's how we all heard it the first time on the radio back in the mid 1970's.

Can't choose top 3 songs because there is no bad song from them and they have a big catalog. I do have one favorite and that is In the Light. It's a slow relaxing song. But I love their whole catalog. Most people are going to tell you to react to these few by Led Zeppelin (yes it's only a few from their catalog): Kashmir, Black Dog, Whole Lotta Love, When the Levee Breaks, Dazed and Confused, What is and What Should Never Be, Going to California, Since I've Been Loving You, Rock N Roll, Over the Hills and Far Away, Misty Mountain Hop, Good Times Bad Times, Communication Breakdown, Immigrant Song, Ramble On, Living Loving Maid, Heartbreaker, All My Love, Thank You, D'er Make'er, In the Evening, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, How Many More Times, No Quarter, Hey Hey What Can I Do, In My Time of Dying, Ten Years Gone, Moby Dick, Trampled Under Foot, Fool in the Rain, The Rain Song.

It always shows up on a best 100 list, even a top 10. Add in,It was the most requested songs of all time and got to the point where it was overplayed a bit. It's a masterpiece stated by trained musicians, and it took the music world by storm. Welcome to the world of LZ. Just don't get stuck on Stairway. Their depth goes a lot further.

Jimmy Page is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. He succeeded Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck as the guitarist for the English blues group the Yardbirds, which eventually morphed into Led Zeppelin. The reason for the guitar with two necks is that it gives him both a six string and a twelve string guitar without having to change instruments. He used them both during this song. His long solo was done using the six string neck, of course. I believe the fluty sound that accompanied the guitar at the beginning was bassist John Paul Jones on a keyboard. John Bonham was indeed a great rock drummer. And the man with the incredible voice who fronted Led Zeppelin, is Robert Plant.

From 1972 to 1999 this was the #1 requested song on rock radio nationwide every year. It was so EVERYWHERE that in guitar shops (millions were inspired to buy guitars from this song) would ban the playing of the song in the stores. The employees got sick of hearing it in good and bad fashion all day long. Jimmy Page is on the MT. Rushmore of guitar Gods with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. The instruments here are six string acousitc (under the whole song) six string electric, 12 string electric, (all done by Jimmy Page through many over dubs in the studio) John Paul Jones is playing an early synthesizers (recorders/flutes or at least it sounds like them, doesn't it?) John Bonham on the drums. Robert Plant wrote the lyrics to Page's music.

11:30 You were wrong in one sense but you were mostly right. It doesn't just go from zero to 60 like some of their stuff does, it is a gradual build all the way. But you did make that great analogy too it's easy to go down the highway to hell in a hurry and by the way I love that album by CDC it's my absolute favorite and it's the last one before Bon Scott died and I saw them on that tour and 11th grade and it's one of the best shows I've ever seen, but anyway! The reason for Jimmy Page having a double neck guitar there is not only because they were new at the time and really cool, and he had that one custom made for him, when you're that good, it gives you ability to have two entirely different guitars at your disposal at the exact same time. It's very useful. That's really the main reason.

You should check out the cover by Heart from the Kennedy Center Awards. The band is in a top balcony watching the sisters.ay their song and are shown to be very impressed.

Hey Michael, really like your enthusiastic reactions. If you wanna do a short Led Zep song, try 'Rock and Roll'. They called it 'spontaneous combustion', because it just sort of made itself up while they were jamming.

I don't know if you see these comments, but, I agree with other comments. You need to hear the studio version. When you've never heard a song before, you should hear it as it was 1st heard. Same goes for Aerosmiths Dream On, you need to hear the studio version. And I wouldn't mind seeing your reaction to those studio versions. Keep listening. Great reactions

Most would pick this song as their favored Zeppelin song, and many would pick this live version. It really cooks! My 2nd would be 'Dazed and Confused' from this concert, where Jimmy Page, the best guitarist around, did even better than he did in this song, if you can believe! The movie 'The song remains the same' is what this concert footage is used in. And visual scenes of their fantasies added as well. Pretty awesome film.

The guitar thing - the top one is a 12 string, played for most of the time, and the other is regular 6 string.

My time of Dying....Earls Court 1975! Dazed and Confused, Since I’ve been loving you MSG 1973, oh so much more! The GOATS. DUDE check out Steve Ray Vaughn, and Double Trouble! 🔥 Oh yeah a double neck guitar is what Page was playing. 12 string on top, 6 string on the bottom. He’s plays both at different times in the song! The 12 string with give you more of and acoustic sound, where as the 6 string is played for the solo! Watch and you will notice! The GOATS!
