LILIAC Pronounced LIL-EE-ACK. It is Romanian for Vampire Bat. That is where their parents are from, Transylvania. Papa Liliac grew up an hour from Dracula's Castle.

They are an independent band who write their own original songs and their father is their manager and producer . They have millions of fans known as fangs worldwide and are about to become bigger than Christmas .Melody the singer is19 and is said to have the best female rock voice in the industry Sam 22 is lead guitarist and has been compared to all the legends, Abigail the drummer not only is an outstanding drummer but is the happiest one , Ethan is 14 and plays the 5string bass like it was invented just for him and Justin 13 is fast becoming an accomplished player and is a very important member of the band . I have to add on here that Justin, the keyboards, is 13 now and his voice has gotten deeper (and much taller lol) and no longer does the child voice, when they do this on stage. lol Instead, now Melodia, says the words and then points the mic at the audience and they happily repeat the words. Howz that for crowd interaction. lol

My wife and I just saw Liliac this last weekend. They are VERY good live and are super nice people, very easy to talk to. They also stayed at their merch booth until every single person that wanted a picture with them got one. Go buy a ticket and support them.

That smile all thru the video says it all! They have a few more rocking videos from back then, that are equally as enjoyable. Since these, they have wrote, and self produced 2 EP's with many videos. They are one of the hottest up & coming Indy bands in the Country currently. Been on National Tv, Global TV, Have over a dozen social pages, around the world, with untold number of fans. They got chosen out of a massive amount of Indy bands coast to coast to perform for Kiss, on their annual cruise. They got invited back by Kiss to perform on the next cruise coming up. It is pronounced Lillie Ack. They hold the title for the best ever cover of Rainbow in the Dark. I do not know all their names, but, the lead singers name is Melody. The lead Guitarist is Sam, and the Drummer is Abigail. Personally, my favorite band member is Abigail, because I know how hard it is to have the coordination to play the drums ( I don't have it ), yet she makes it look like she is just having fun ( not working at it ). Melody has a hiller voice for the band ( she is awesome ). You should check out all their songs ( they nail each one of them ).

OK for members it goes as follows: Melody: Vocals/Bass (16 yrs old during this video) Sam: Lead Guitar (19 then) Abigail: Drums (18 then) Ethan: Rhythm Guitar (12 then) Justin: Keyboards (10 then) Current lineup: Melody: Vocals (19 now) Sam: Guitar (22 now) Abigail: Drums (21 now) Ethan: Bass (15 now) and a big boy. Justin: Keyboards (13 now) Melody dropped the Bass and Ethan took over Bass duties. Freeing up Melody to be more free on the stage to be a proper Frontwoman.

Welcome to younger Lil-e-ac! Romanian word for bat. They do awesome covers and fantastic originals. I have them on cd and vinyl. They get better and better. They coined their style as Vamp Metal. MeloDia is heavily influenced by Ronnie James Dio. Vinnie Appice (Black Sabbath/DIO drummer) has said many times that she is the reincarnation of a female Ronnie James Dio. He loves her and Liliac. You REALLY have to check out PLUSH'S live SiriusXM version of Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains! Also their original songs Hate and the just released Athena. All Female. All under 21. Awesome musicians. The singer, Moriah Formica was on The Voice at age 16 and has been compared to Ann Wilson (Heart), Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Lizzy Hale (Halestorm).

Their covers are great, but their original material shows what they are about and are one of the best bands out there. Sail away seems like a song that you would really appreciate. Covers get peoples attention, but the originals captivate!

I would suggest doing the original Liliac songs- Mars (Live in Cumming GA), We are the Children, Dancing in the Dark, Mystery, Crazy Nights, Dear Father, Sail Away. However if you want more covers I would suggest Liliac- The Trooper (Iron Maiden), Holy Diver (DIO), Symphony of Destruction (Megadeth), Crazy Train (Ozzy), Master of Puppets (Metallica), I Hate Myself for Loving You (Joan Jett), Rainbow in the Dark (Official Music Video, DIO), Somebody to Love (Jefferson Airplane), Rock N Roll All Nite (KISS), Piece of My Heart (Live in Cumming GA, Janis Joplin), and The Last in Line (Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund Tribute). Honestly though you can pick anything they do, it's all great. Being independent they do everything themselves from making the videos and the music to selling merch and promoting, they are also very Reactor friendly and nice people, one of those humble hard working good at heart types of families you really don't see much of these days.

Hi, y'all from South Carolina. The band name is pronounced like Lil-e-ac. From what I understand, it means "bat" in Romanian. Their dad comes from the area of Romania close to where the actual Vlad Dracul had his castle. That's why the name was chosen.

This family band is the very best at Metal cover song, None come better Melody these vocal has a voice like off the chain her sister on the drums Abigail is one of the best female drummers this band if they stay together will be at the top in less than 3 years. I know it is funny that a 65 year old like metal but hey, I was raised on Ozzy Osborn. This is why I say I know great music Holy Diver cover by Lilac is the best if you ask me.
