Saw them open for The Who, decades ago, caught me by surprise, tight as hell! Them boys rocked the stage, never missed a heartbeat...pretty damn awesome

I saw them in concert on July 8, 1982, Bangor, Maine. Huey Lewis and the News opened the concert. It was awesome!

That's about around the same year I seen them up in Albuquerque New Mexico. They opened for ZZ top. Did they open for ZZ Top in Maine? I've been to a lot of rock concerts in LA and Arizona but that was the first time I seen nothing but mexican-americans and filling up a whole stadium of rockers.

I remember this band from the early '80's. They came out of nowhere and were extremely hot. They sold out concerts in El Paso, Tx, in a few days. That's been over 40 years ago.

I saw them opening up for Journey in Dallas in the 80's. The next night they played at a small club at the West end in Dallas. We didn't know they were playing there, we just wanted to hang out and jam to whatever band was playing.. Imagine our surprise! They were amazing both shows!

Great reaction! Yes. A Canadian rock group that never seemed to get the recognition they deserved despite being one of the heavyweights that kicked off MTV. They wrote a lot of songs about the unabashed pursuit of every man's favorite past time. By far their best was the first big hit in 1980 "Turn Me Loose". It would be a good video to review. Thanks again.

You passed my greatest rock test ever. If you can sing part of the song the first time you ever heard it. It is great.

I thought I'd drop-off another suggestion, in case you're interested "Little River Band - Lonesome Loser - Official Video 1978" this band was formed in 1975 in Melbourne, Australia as a harmony rock group with Beep Birtles on guitar and vocals, Graham Davidge lead guitar, Graham Goble on guitar and vocals, Dave Orams on bass guitar, and Derick Pellicci on drums, Glenn Shorrock on lead vocals. This is an Australian super-group because these members had been with prominent bands prior to getting together and already had very successful careers. Later John Farnham would replace Glenn Shorrock as lead singer of "The Little River Band" from around 1982 to 1985. Whoever, John Farnham was mostly known for his incredibly long solo career, another Aussie to check out. Take care~

Lead singer had some serious pipes! My guilty pleasure in that era. If my peers caught me listening to this I would have been caught a lot of grief.

The sad thing is if that crap cover at the beginning was released today it would be a huge hit. 😆 Mike Reno is 1 of my top rock vocalists. I'm a Metal guy more than anything else, but this dude has some pipes.

Adogg, my brother, too bad you were born way past the decade that was the great 80's. The 80's were a transcendent era of what is now pop culture. The music, the style, the movies. Thank you and your fellow reactors for keeping great music alive! That's about all...
