One of the best concerts I ever went to was Michael Bolton's. Watching couples at the concert was so romantic; dancing together, holding each other, swaying to Michael's music. Michael has one of the best romantic voices ever and he is a great preformer! The second part of the concert opened with him on a platform in the middle of the audience. The platform was mobbed, but no one tried to grab him, swarm him even during his walk down the isle to the stage. I think this showed the respect his audience has for him.
He’s one of the few legends whose voice has remained as powerful as back in the day! Of course everyone’s voice fades away little by little, but Michael still be singing his heart out! Such an amazing artist! Truly One of the Greats!
Absolutely one of THE MOST emotionally rich songs because Michael Bolton sings it...the studio version literally gets me teary almost every time I hear it to this day...just SO much genuine feeling in his voice...may be matched someday but never exceeded. His ability to convey emotion in song voice is just STUNNING !!
If I could have changed some words in it I would have. I lost my beautiful daughter at only 37 less than a month ago this was the song I had played for her service. I was there when she took her 1st breath and last when she did half of me went with her. This song describes almost perfect how I now feel. May everyone have a blessed day.

Oh yes , Michaels voice is wonderful so rich. I was a bartender when this was on the airwaves. I swear during wedding season, I wanted to put a sign on the jukebox - this song can only be played once an hour. 😂 Seriously, though, it helped give voice to so many broken hearts.
Michael Bolton really is a great singer. He became somewhat of a meme in the U.S. for a long time but I think people forget how good his voice it. I would suggest "Time, Love and Tenderness" or "Go the Distance."

Close to the end of the concert.....everything went dark.....I heard whispering around me, then a spotlight came on 3 rows below me with Michael wailing out this song.....stunning performance!

My heartthrob in the 80's and 90's. I was in the front row at one of his concerts - dang it if he wasn't wearing black leather pants. 😊 Gracious! He exerted so much energy during his superb performance - I was smitten. Lol!
Laura Brannigan recorded this first back in 1983. Her version is also just as powerful. When you feel like this is what you are going thru then it hits you are in the heart. I had the CD that Michael sang this on. Just loved him and then he disappeared off the circuit.
One of the best male soulful voices out there. Remember him when he used his real name, Michael Bolotin, when he was in his first soft rock band, Blackjack. A highly recommended album if you can find it.

I’ve been listening to this awesomely talented and gifted man sing since the 80’s and this song has always been one of my favorites The Album version of this song is more enjoyable to listen to than the live version- has the better range example of his awesome vocals and it carries the emotions better- putting the listener in his place better
