Yes, she's correct Ricky died in a plane crash in 1985. And yes, he recorded the song Garden Party, along with Hello Mary Lou, Good Bye Heart among others.

If we keep it a buck, most ppl that want only the hard stuff do so bc they need that adrenaline rush as a crutch to hide behind from the emptiness of their vain, hollow lives. And only listening to the hard stuff makes them feel more powerful than they really are (or, let's be honest) ever will be. 🤔

The red haired guitarist, Joey Cathcart was the son of Peggy Lennon of the Lennon Sisters. He had a historybof brain cancer, and died a few years ago. The drummer is Bobby Rock. He suffered a tragedy, when his pregnant fiancee was shot and killed in a car-jacking incident.

Most of this video was spent talking about all the pretty boys on screen & deserved props to Donna for her Nelson knowledge. I think this was a hilarious reaction & a great one. You three were so busy with the eye candy, you didn't actually react to the music. It was like an after thought before you signed off. I loved it. Thanks for the reaction.

My favorite three Nelson songs are this, "Love and Affection" and their contribution to one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure", where their label insisted they couldn't be credited as Nelson so that's them as "Power Tool" singing "Two Heads are Better than One". These guys are officially three-hit wonders (IIRC it's not the Power Tool song, it's "More Than Ever" that snuck into the Top 40?) that people treat as one-hit wonders that should have been ten-hit wonders in my opinion... but they don't seem to mind at all. (Wait, technically if we're talking Top 40, "Only Time Will Tell" made it a fourth hit. They had three Top _20_ hits. I just had to look that up for myself.)

They are Ricky Nelson’s sons. His daughter Tracy is an actress and played the role of the nun Sister Stephanie in the Tv show Father Dowling Mysteries.

They had a weird career. They had previously made an album that bombed big. They disappeared for a few years, suddenly showed up, recorded and released this album and it went platinum. It was like they found a guru or something. Their talent had totally evolved.

My son was into Nelson when he was in junior high school. We took him to a couple of concerts and the whole band was very talented. If you have ever watched The Voice you have seen The keyboard player Paul Mirkovich. He was also the musical director for Cher and Pink. They have a deep Hollywood legacy. They are the only family that has had 3 generations have a #1 song. Ozzy, Rick, and the twins Gunnar and Matthew Nelson. There's an incredible interview with Gunnar and Matthew with Lyndsey Parker. She's a real good entertainment journalist. They talk about how they were supposed to be on the plane with their dad and why they weren't, how they got in the business and were responsible for the law that allowed bands under 21 to perform in clubs, how grunge took over the Glam Rock era. They even had Mama Cass from The Mamas and Papas babysit them. It's an interview I highly suggest ic you like music. The twins are still touring and they perform their dad's songs too.

Their grandfather Ozzie was also a musician and band leader. Harriet was hired by Ozzie to sing for his band but was primarily known as an actress. Music and acting runs in the family. Their sister Tracey is an actress.

Ask Bobbi Brown from Warrant Cherry Pie video about the Nelson Twins , she "Dated" both of them before meeting Jani Lane lead singer of Warrant on the Cherry Pie video set, Bobbi left the Nelson twins and Married Jani Lane and had a daughter Maddi Lane . Sadly Jani Lane died in a holtel room in LA , his drinking left him helpless , as it does to many, a grate singer and song writter . RiP Jani Lane ,
