FINALLY SOME FREESTYLE!!!! THIS IS THE MUSIC THAT MAKES MY SOUL COMPLETE!! My cousins used to visit me from NYC when I was younger and they would bring these mixtapes with them. It's been my fave genre ever since. Freestyle music is A FEELING you can't really explain it
As a dental asst. for years, Noel was my patient for years. He's a very polite, nice person. Appreciates that you still enjoys his music. It will never die.....
Finally !!! Freestyle music, I was a great Era in music when the community came out and danced up and down the streets, loud cars bumping this music genre and the clubs always packed... Hints: Johnny O, Stevie B, George Lamond, TKA, Cover Girls, Judy Torres, Cynthia, and Sweet Sensation
Nice to see you headed down the Freestyle rabbit hole! Now you need to check out some Cover Girls, Connie, TKA, Sweet Sensation, Expose and more. I used to deejay in a club that featured Freestyle and people would dance none stop from 9p till 3am! That sound you like is a EMU Emulator or Akai S1000 sampler to name a few where the producer would sample vocals and use the keys to pitch it up or down. Good examples of this would be Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's I wonder If You Take Me Home, Connie Funky Little Beat and Sweet Sensation's Hooked On You club mix.
We loved latin freestyle music in Texas back in the 80s and 90s! Do some Stevie B, TKA, Cynthia, Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam, Lissette Melendez, Shannon, Trinere, Lil Suzy, Johnnie O too!
Silent Morning was the first song I danced in my 7th grade school dance with a lovely Boriquena, Claudia. Freestyle was a way of life for NY, NJ Street kids of the 80s.
OMG, I haven't heard this song in ages. As a teen in Secondary School this song was played at most parties/dances in those days. Wow, brings back memories of school days with my friends. It seemed like yesterday.
GAHHHH i requested this! you finally got to it! bring me back to Palladium NYC late 80s! this & his song Like A Child are latin freestyle classics!!! Noel was HUGE!
You've been Warned again! Check them out and spread the love. Plus they are playing at Rocklahoma in Percy Oklahoma Aug. 30. Your neck of the woods!! Yoi will love these girls!!!
OMG, OMG... The memories. I remember being at the Copa Cabana and he was the guest performer. The bouncers rushed him off the stage and I heard him yell to someone he knew, " they won't let me stay and hang out because I'm only 17". 😂 He was so young! You would replay this and loop it over and over. 😊 Good times!!!
Johnny O - Fantasy Girl, Safire - Boy I've Been Told, Debbie Deb - Lookout Weekend/When I Hear Music, Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam - Let the Beat Hit 'em, Stevie B - Spring Love, Corina - Temptation, Trinere - I'll Be All You Ever Need, Nocera - Summertime Summertime, Will to Power - Say it's Gonna Rain, India - Dancing on the Fire
Back in the day in Philadelphia that would be a mix song going right into something like d-train long Live WDAS Philly😅 that was fun man brought back memories haven't heard that song and so long
I love growing up to freestyle music as a kid in the 80s. Miss going to the ice arena skating with my friends on a Friday nights we skated on the ice and dance at the same time. Good old days.
You have been Warned!!…. by MuSik (by Jeremy and Jillian). React to "The Warning" and warn another reactor. The best place to start is "Evolve" MTV Video Music Awards live.
'You've Been WARNED by @musikbyjh and The Warning Army. Now you go react to a The Warning song, pick a new Reactor to "warn", and keep the love going for our favorite Villarreal sisters!!!!
Dudes born and raised in the Bushwick housing projects In Brooklyn New York freestyle music was part of our every day culture even though I’m a metalhead I listen to grunge and alternative music This music was awesome
Oh wow…this Miami freestyle from the 80’s!!!! My high school days. Before y’all get all up in my grill… freestyle was not NYC only…its origins are Latin and came out of several heavily Latino populated cities in the USA, which also included Miami, Philly, Chicago, and LA. Many acts from this time were Miami based acts as well.
Great reaction, fam. This was a banger. There's nothing like Miami/NY freestyle music. Clubing back in the day was awesome. Noel had a couple hits. "Like A Child" and "Out of Time"
This reminds me a track called 'Fascinated' by Company B. Another great track where you can get lost in the sound of the music is 'Voyage Voyage' by Desireless. I think it's sung in French but the music is fantastic
MuSik (by Jeremy & Jillian) gave you guys a cool shout out right in the middle of their “The Warning” band reaction to “Hell you call a dream” live at the Pepsi Center. They’ve also requested that you do a reaction to The Warning and then give a shoutout to another reactor of your choice to continue spreading the love of this magnificent band of hard rocking sisters from Mexico. Much love & respect to you, your wonderful family, and your RU-vid channels.
Now you have to listen to Stevie B "Spring Love", "In My Eyes", "I Wanna Be The One", along with the group Freestyle "Don't Stop The Rock", "It's Automatic", "The Party Has Just Begun, and Debbie Deb "When I Hear Music", "Look Out Weekend", and "Funky Little Beat". This was when electro, hip hop, and new wave were still somewhat similar and separating into different genres in the early to mid 80's. There's a whole rabbit hole of 80's synth pop, and Italo Disco. I was around 6 years old but my older cousins and my younger uncles and aunts all partied, so we grew up on this.
NOW ITS A PARTY!! Classic NYC freestyle. So much music in this genre for you to hear. You should go back to disco first. Mandolay by La Flavor will get your party started ~Red
@@luzlopez776 i actually thought he was a GREAT guy! we hung out backstage at Heartthrobs NYC & Palaldium... cool AF & we got stoned together & talked about the biz. maybe it was just you. just sayin.
C'Mon you guys! I've been a subscriber for a good couple years and never asked for anything! The Warning - Evolve Live at 2023 MTV VMAs!! - Three Mexican sisters for Female Friday! (They rock - you will not be disappointed - you will WANT to go down the rabbit hole and react to every song for their Teatro Metropolitan concert!) Their superpower is their LIVE shows!!
'80s/'90s freestyle music. Latinos and Italians usually dominated this . Originated out of the east coast. Like Miami, Philly, NYC/NJ. Its electrobeat/hip hop with latin style beats music with R&B like singing. Sometimes sung in Spanglish. Does sound like new wave music but with a latin twist. Played a lot on radio, house parties, skating rinks, school dances, videos on MTV and BET, etc .Lot of the songs are about love, relationships, city life, etc. Noel other videos "Like A Child" and "Out of Time" are also worth checking out. Freestyle music is/was huge in large cities/states with large Latino (esp Cuban, Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Dominicans) , Italian, Black, Asian populations. NYC/NJ, Miami (FL), Philly (PA), Detroit (MI), Chicago (IL), Houston/San Antonio/Dallas (TX), LA/SF (CA), Toronto (Canada), Puerto Rico, Caribbean countries, Philipines, Italy, Latin American countries, etc Other freestyle artists to check out! Shannon. TKA, Stevie B, Cynthia, Johnny O, Lisette Melendez, Lil Suzy, Expose, Nice and Wild, Klymaxx, Company B, Corina, Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam, Trinere, Rockell, George LaMond, Jocelyn Enriquez, Collage, Linear, Nayobe, Debbie Deb, Sa-Fire, Judy Torres, The Cover Girls, Lisa Velez, Stacey Q, Nocera, La India, Pretty Poison, Sweet Sensation, etc
This is a Party Favor anthem. This is the first song to kick off at about 11:30 in a New Orleans club, then followed by Egypt by Egyptian lover snap the power & tons of freestyle. You still need to do Lisa Lisa and cult jam. Let the beat hit him. Y’all are going to love it.
