Matt is absolutely epic on this one! This is the song that my 20 year old son wanted to see live!!! Check out their evergreen tour videos on their page, they’re live and great quality recordings. If you haven’t done Joyful Joyful from Evergreen you should. I’ll try to take a look at what you’ve done.

This was always Matt's solo. Kirstie and Mitch's expressions are so funny that it helps make the video for me.

You gotta see Over the River with Lindsey Stirling! Let's put it this way, they each represent an element in that video, and your girl is 🔥🔥🔥! And it is a Christmas song, I believe.

I love Joyful Joyful (live from the Evergreen Experience), but technically it isn’t a Christmas song, but joy is definitely a Christmas theme, so I think you should go with it. Making Christmas is a super short, but fun (and surprising) one. Last Christmas from their last year’s Grammy nominated album is a bop as well. ❤💚

A fun one is Rockin around the Christmas Tree

It’s funny how even the band jokes that they get away with putting non-Christmas songs on Christmas albums. They’re in on the joke. Also, not sure if you caught, but what’s cool about this one is that because Matt takes the lead, Scott takes the bass line throughout.

I recommend their cover of The Beach Boys classic, God Only Knows and Prayers for this World from the last year’s Christmas album (that’s been nominated for a Grammy).

I looked through and didn't see any reaction to "Making Christmas" covered by Pentatonix from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Done 5 years ago, and one of my many favorites.

Thanks for this reaction. You are so right. Matt was perfect for this. I looked at the list of PTX reactions on your channel and these are the ones I’d recommend. Some live. Live would be: 12 days of Christmas; We need a little Christmas; Joyful, Joyful(my fave). Videos: God only knows; Do you hear what I hear; Rocking Around the Christmas tree. Thank you for reacting to so many of their holiday music this year.

Popspring 2016 (live for MTV Japan, won't need a copyright block), aha live at the Star Vista (fan video, sound has crispy spots, but Holy 💩 Mitch! Also don't need a copyright block), oh come all ye faithful, sing, Shallows, Havana (smooth af), I Rise, Dreams, blinding lights, feel it still, Rather Be, Happy Now. I'm. Not sure how many have actual videos cause I pulled most of those from my playlists.

Matt's personality really shines in this one. The only other time Matt gets an entire lead to himself is in the concert performances of It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year and I recommend that one. They have a guest artist with him on the studio release, so it has to be concert footage. Another one that has a guest on the studio release but is great live is Joyful, Joyful. There's a great Mitch solo and you get both a high note AND some beatboxing from Matt. And a third I like live best, but is one of those "not quite a Christmas song" is The Coldest Winter. Most live versions have Matt and Kevin playing drums, but there's at least one without, if that's your jam. As to songs you haven't done - YT doesn't like links and I've pretty much stopped trying to tell reactors about it because no one cares 😅 BUT a couple years ago now I made a spreadsheet of every PTX song I could find. I've slacked off the last year and a half but 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you're interested, there's a throwaway "video" in my channel and the link to the Google spreadsheet is in the description. You can sort it by the genre tab to get the Christmas songs all grouped and there are links to official videos at minimum.

I don't think you've done The Prayer or My Heart With You yet - both are fantastic! There's also a huge catalogue of audio-only tracks that you haven't done yet: This Christmas; Sleigh Ride; Go Tell It On The Mountains; Just For Now; We Need A Little Christmas; I Saw Three Ships (you'll love this one!); Joy To The World x Love Came On Christmas. All of these are spectacular and it's a real shame that so few reactors do the audio-only stuff.

Love your reaction and this song. Matt is amazing. The video is fun and how do they all make this with voices alone? This is fun live because they have a grinch join them in stage. I know for at least one show the grinch was her fiancé, but I don’t think he does it every show.

Did you do the 12 days of Christmas yet? Also could do a live of I Saw 3 Ships. Mentions Christmas a lot. There’s a Disney live version. The prayer is not Christmas but set on a snowy backdrop ( and was on the Christmas album lol)
