I just played this video for my husband, Peter Beckett, who wrote and sang Baby Come Back. I should've recorded his reaction to it. He was cracking up, loved it. Thanks for the great "reaction." Peter will be touring with Ambrosia this year. August-November 2021
There’s like a 100 reaction videos to this song !!!!! From all over the world . Not exaggerating at all! Such a soulful song ! I couldn’t believe they were white !!! So much soul !
I’m 66 years old and I enjoy seeing a new generation love the music that I have loved for sooo many years! So many fantastic songs from our era and I never get tired of hearing them. Yes...the BeeGees are great and definitely check out Ambrosia (they’re ALL great but check out Holding On To Yesterday....you’ll love it)
I absolutely love this song! When my fiance and I broke up 1 year ago he sent this song to me. Made me bawl my eyes out. Fast forward 1 year later and we are back together and even more in love!
On Oct 11, 2021 I had a heart attack and suffered an Anoxic brain injury, and was Placed into a medically induced coma. My wife played this song on repeat because I would play it to her and she hoped it would bring me back. I awake (this means I started remembering things) towards the end of Oct and have been recovering since. This song has so much more meaning than it did!! Love this song.
That's true love 👍 I had a heart attack/cardiac arrest in 2011 age 50 . I drove myself to hospital 6 miles away ,arrived at A&E and said to the receptionist I think I'm having a heart attack, and collapsed into cardiac arrest, I was also put into an induced coma and whisked to the heart hospital in London . My wife n family were in bits .but fortunately I survived . We are so lucky to be here today. Oh and this track is absolutely brilliant..love it 😁👍🎶
You are taking me way back to the 70's and those slow dancing garage parties. Another good one is Seals & Croft - Summer Breeze or Ambrosia - How Much You Feel, Biggest Part of Me and Your The Only Woman. Great reaction ❤
For all you young people out there I’m 56 this is the kind of music you missed out on in the 70s and 80s. It was amazing and music today is horrible compared to this stuff. There’s some good songs today but not many.
You want more beautiful harmony? Pentatonix of course is where to go. They do have some original tunes, but mostly do covers. Almost everything they do old to new stuff are bangers!
Yes I love this song. My mother used to play this alot. I wish they had of made more albums. I know Ron Moss is an actor on a soap opera. So much talent.
I agree with you that this is great instrumentation and voice quality. It was a very popular song back in the day. As was the Bee Gees. Different but both great harmony and talent in both groups.
I only know of this because I was a huge fan of The Bold and The Beautiful back in my teens! Lol.... Ronn Moss played Ridge Forrester and he was a member of that group, Player. 🤣💯✔️
There will never be music like the 70s AM rock that your friends would beat you up if you admit that you dig it but now years later it puts a smile on your face. There were so many soulful bands in the 70s especially some of the white boys, Player, Hall&Oats, and many others, Wild Cherry from my neck of the woods with their hit Play That Funky Music, these guys grew up and idolized Black Motown artist and it shows in their music. I was probably 6,7,8 year's old but I remember all the music and just how great it was.
Peter will be singing Baby Come Back, This Time I'm In It For Love & Night Owl (from his days with Little River Band) along with Ambrosia and John Ford Coley Aug 22 and 29, 2021 in Southern California. #babycomeback #livemusic
I am a Rock fan and everyone I know as well but everyone equally loves this incredible groove. This jam will definitely get the panites to drop after a few glasses of wine and the candles are lit!
That song stands the test of time. It's fresh year after year. I was in Nashville and went to the country music hall of fame. They pay homage to the writers as much as the musicians. And for good reason. Getting a hit or top ten song is one in a million. A 1 in a million song thst stands the test of time is a miracle. I rate this one a solid 10. Very few that I do.
Hot Bass player was an actor on Bold and the Beautiful. Love this song, woke up to it and others like it every weekend … my parents had great taste in music and I am so thankful.
Hey brother, new subscriber here! Check out ‘More Than a Feeling’ by Boston, ‘Carry on Wayward Son’ by Kansas and ‘Games People Play’ by Alan Parsons Project if you truly love vocals and real instrumentation!
For a similar theme, check out a couple of Motown classics "The Tracks of My Tears" (Smokey Robinson and the Miracles) and "I Want You Back" (The Jackson 5).

Burger King commercial, how some know the line. 17 years old when it came out, and it defined how I have dealt and felt with women . . . Bee Gees, Ambrosia, Player among HOF Soft Rock
please do some reactions to ABBA . i love so much of their music , Dancing Queen , SOS , Knowing Me knowing You , and Take A Chance On Me are just a few . thanks
The Bee Gees is who you’re thinking of I lived during this song. It brought me to my knees every time my boyfriend played this song It’s a “panty-dropper”!
50's, 60's and the 70's had the best music genre's of all time. The musicians today seem more focused on the industry of music more than the quality of it's sound. Autotune and computerized sound are the fashion today and it's sad, and these classic gems reveal the difference. You can use part's of a classic as a sample for modern music, but you can't replicate the heart, desire and talent of the musicians that modern music is founded on. You can't replicate it's original intent, to please the audience, not the manager's of record labels or social media views.
This music is a good example of what we had growing up in the 70s. We just called it popular music and we had lots of great bands. Now it’s all digitized and sampled and auto tuned. I feel sorry for those under 30.
Your video is so great. I love seeing younger people get into the great older stuff, and this song is one of the best. I wanted to share the links below with you, since you talked a lot about the vocals, instrumentation, etc. One video is a version of the song with just the music, and another with just the vocals. I love breaking apart my favorite old songs like this, to be able to appreciate the individual parts that make the whole thing great. Enjoy! No vocals: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d_n1OLm1MGk.html Just vocals: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d2iTvaYvxMA.html
Bru if you like those vocals you need to listen to Ambrosia Joe much I feel your the biggest part of me and your the only woman listen to those three songs! You will be blow. Away at vocals’
One of the things that people don't realize is that the keyboard player is playing two keyboards almost at the same time and of you don't believe me then look for yourself that's just to let you know how bad PLAYER really was
Since you really picked up on the quality… Quincy Jones one said one of his favorite groups that were so talented and he love them was called ambrosia. He said I don’t care black or white this is one of my favorite groups of all time these brothers are smooth. If you get a chance check out some ambrosia. They have three or four songs you may know. If you’re too young to know I will tell you they had three or four really big hits
lead singer Ron Moss became an soap opera lead character on the bold and the beautiful, and was one of the only original cast to survive until the End... Player come Back.
@@GenXfrom75 ooooop s.... My Bad . I was in the sixth grade when Baby Come Back was Hot, and by the time I saw him in the soap opera, I was in junior high and he looked quite different... GRRR r
