I am 53 years old now and when I was a kid this was my absolute favorite song for so long and I still love it! Just a powerful powerful song to go along with many many others of that era
Same age here. This song moves me to this day. I’m moved to tears usually because it’s just masterful and I think about how privileged we were to have these guys unleash it on the world. Imagine life without this classic. I couldn’t…
You know a song is special when a girl blushed listening to it. I don't blame her. Everything here are off the chart like the harmony, melody, lyrics, musicianship and especially the falsetto. The lead vocalist nailed it bigtime.
These are the songs I listened to when I was a kid. While it isn't exactly what I listen to these days, it's still great seeing people find these songs again.
This was when guys were not afraid to talk about how much they loved their women. I felt the same way you did everytime it would come on the radio. Amazing feeling. Thank you.
Girl ! You blushed like they were singing directly to you! That's when you know the music is GOOD! Great to see the younger generation getting into my generation's music! I absolutely love your accent and your honest reactions! You gained a subscriber here!
I remember when this song was released. I was 11 and even though I grew up to be a metal head, I still enjoy listening to music like this. It is actually in my iTunes library. No one does ballads like bands from the 70s.
I was 15 in 1977,and yes, life was much simpler and the music was story telling at it's best ! Nothing today really compares other than some County Music which I've always liked .
This song came out when I was a senior in high school. I didn't know a single person who didn't love this song. It is still one of my all-time favorites!
This SONG takes you on an unbelievable emotional roller coaster ride like a cleansing good CRY ... every aspect is PERFECTION... instrumentation, harmony, bridge, lead vocals, arrangement, etc etc FLAWLESS!
This is the best era of music in history This is when people sang from their heart and played real instruments I don’t understand why people quit making music like this You could make women melt in your hands with music like this
I couldn't stay away. :-) 1977 was the year I retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years. Wonderful year. My son was 15 years old. He's now a grandfather. :-) And life goes on. Oh, and I knew you would LOVE this song. I did and so did so many otheers.
This is REAL MIUSIC!!!. All this music had feeling and when you broke up with your BF or GF you would dedicate this song and others similar.. these types of songs I listened to as a teenage and they still are good now as an adult.. These songs made you dance too..
I was a senior in high school when this record came out. It was a huge hit and one of my favorite songs. Seeing your smile when hearing this just makes my heart ❤ happy 😊. Wonderful reaction.😍
I too was a senior in high school then. Graduated. Loved this song. Turned 18 in the middle of August, was married Sept. 3. 44 years has passed and still with the same beautiful woman. This song still gives me chills. Thanks for helping me reminisce.
Wow this song really brings me back to when I was a kid and used to go roller skating and this would come on it was always a couple skate. Man where has the time gone to. Miss those days so much 🤔
I love your reaction to this song. As a musician, I would to love to see a girl emotionally moved like this to a song of mine. It means the group nailed it. I look forward to your reactions to other songs from the 70's. (My favorite music era.) I am subscribing to your channel. 😉
You are so beautiful 😍 I grew up with this song and it takes me right back every time I hear. You can’t be a romantic and not love this song. I loved your reaction. I’m a full time musician for thirty plus years and I live for this stuff. We’ll done…
Since some think this song sounds like Hall & Oates it's time you should discover them "Sara smile" 'She's gone" 'Kiss on my list" 'I can't go for that' 'Private eyes' "Rich girl" "Maneater" "One on one' "Say it isn't so" "Out of touch" "Method of modern love'
Although it looks like they were playing live. This was the studio version and they were lip syncing and playing along to the record. Great reaction 👍🏼
I'm a kid from the '80s and came of age in the 90s, but the music of the 70s just has a beauty and musicality that can't be matched. I believe it's the perfect melding of rock, pop, soul, R&B, and even some country.
I’m 59 years old now I was like 10 years old I bought this it was in 45 it was a single they put out I played this song over and over again it was absolutely my favorite song this song is like at least years 49 years ago but it still sounds good today
Boy this one brings memories rushing back to me! Growing up listening to this great music! Music had meanings, and soul! This is considered yacht rock! When you’re sailing on a boat laying back and enjoying the sun and listening to this great soft rocks.👌😎👍glad you enjoyed it! Love your smile and expressions!👋😘👉♥️🌹👍
Love love love your reactions. Your willingness to listen to music of the 70's is awesome. Please check out Ambrosia - How much I feel. You will love it. Your light shines bright my lovely. xx
Thanks for showcasing this 70s CLASSIC! I LOVED this song when I was 8 and I STILL LOVE THIS SONG at 52, it is one of my all-time favourites from this era. Loved your reaction. Peter Beckett is one talented songwriter and singer. FUN FACT: Did you know the guitarist in the orange outfit is Ronn Moss? When the band broke up, he went on to acting as Ridge Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful from 1987 to 2012 (25 years!).
I was a teenager when this was released and my reaction then was very much like yours now. The harmony, the instrument mix, that high-hat, the lyrics, all blended to make a perfect song for a hopelessly romantic kid. There are so many songs from this era that I think you'd love to react to: Ace - "How Long", Carly Simon - "That's The Way I've Always Heard It Should Be", Roberta Flack - "Feel Like Makin' Love", The Isley Brothers - "That Lady". I hope you give them a listen!
Player is the group. I was 16 when this came out. I've loved it ever since. This is off the shelf titled album and their was one other hit from it. It is "This Time I'm in it for Love." These 2 songs were by far their most popular. As far as this album goes, I pretty much like all of it!
You young lady have a lovely face and l love your reaction to some classic music Hope you explore more bc there's so much of it!! The music and that time period represents a much better romantic world Be blessed 🙏🏼♥️
Hello my friend! This is one of my all time favorite songs…glad you got to experience it. My suggestion is Hey There Lonely Girl, by Eddie Holman. Listen to the live version recorded almost 50 years after the original.
I love watching you reacting to songs I’ve heard a million times. I try to not take this for granted, but it reminds me how lucky I am to have these songs at the touch of a finger
Morenikeji, your smile says everything about what this song all about. I love it when a different generation finds great songs before they were born. Keep the great songs alive.
So nice to see and hear this song again ! I love this music So much , and you Morenikeij Love this music that can I see . Love from Holland ! 🙋🏼♂️👍😘🇳🇱😘
I was 13 years old in el salvador, this kind of the music never come back, have a nice day from Houston tx USA. She is a lady tom jones 1971 Delilah tom jones 1968 This two song are for me like a trip back in the time
A classy tune from the 1970’s and always deserved much more recognition than it had back in the day. But then again many good quality songs are too good for mainstream pop chart statistics.
I love people's reactions when they first hear this song, imagine how we felt back in the day, we were jamming in the 70s !! 🤘 so many great bands and artists. Might have gotten a little spoiled. 😂
First time I actually watched a “reaction video”. I’m not only overwhelmed by your reactions but also very surprised that your choices of music are 95% similar to mine although I’m much older (I’m 51). I’ve subscribed to your channel now !
I love your reactions you look like you are having such a good time!! This is an awesome band, I was born in 1964 so this was my childhood and so grateful that I was here on the planet with all this wonderful music!!
