Still loving the Porcupine Tree reactions dude, but you need to start reacting to some of Steven Wilson’s solo stuff. May I suggest you start with Home Invasion/Regret #9 - the studio version. It has one of the all time best synth solos, followed by one of the all time best guitar solos (courtesy of the maestro that is Mr Guthrie Govan) of all time imo. Strap yourself in and enjoy!!!!

Thanks man!! I had a feeling you’d love it! This song got me in the deep feels as I can relate to it on so many levels! It was the first song I did a cover of on my channel. The mellotron was developed in the early 60s, with groups like Yes and Genesis using them in the studio and while touring. How they create their sounds is very unique…..

Stop Swimming by Porcupine Tree is so good and very different 😉 The drums are very unique in this one and you can get to know Chris Maitland who was the drummer back then 😉

Highly recommend Oceansize. Criminally underappriecated alt prog band. Its all great but I suggest you check out I am The Morning/Catalyst or The Charm Offensive.
