Prince almost always wore heels & always wore makeup. His dance moves were even more amazing because he did them in heels. He also changed the stereotype of what a ladies man is. Prince did some weird stuff on stage, but he had so much swag, he made the seemingly odd completely cool. Some things he did may appear to be a bit androgenous, but he was one of the few who could cross that bridge and while it may first make you go, huh...in the end, prince made it all fashionable at worst, and normal at best.

LOVED this, So cool to see it from y'all's perspective. Prince always wore 4-5 inche heels. I was on the set of Purple Rain when they were filming Appolonia getting out of a taxi and running across the street. I felt someone walk up next to me then he said "How many times has she done this?" When I looked over it was Prince. I said 4 or 5 times that I've seen. He put his hand on my shoulder and chuckled a little bit and said "And in those heels, God Bless her" and then walked away in his own 5 inche boots, LOL! I actually live right down the road from Paisley Park. I'm still sad about his death.

Prince was a legit musical genius, something you'll find that even a lot of other artists called him. Brilliant song writer (for himself and other artists), he played over 20 instruments and played them well (even had whole albums where he played all the instruments on all the tracks in the studio), a great singer, a great live performer, he could do it all. Definitely one of the greatest musical artists of all time.

One concert he performed in a basketball jersey and tennis shoes and he was still killing it. He got a laugh out of it the whole night.

Heeled boots, makeup, leather pants, ruffled shirts, and so much sex appeal. He dated some of the hottest women on the planet. An incredible musician, songwriter, and singer. He's outfits are off the chain. He could wear what he wanted.He intentionally pushed boundaries.Only 5ft3or4inches tall so you never ever saw him without thoes boots with a heal but it was a small standard professional dance shoe heal dancers wear.He only had a few different people that handmade everyone of his 1000s of boots like that.I saw250 pairs of his shoes when I took the Paisley Park tour.

This heels indirectly lead to princes death. He damaged his hips from years of wearing high heels and needed surgery. He refused to get surgery because he was a jehovahs witness and there is something that they have against surgery, blood or both. Anyway, he was in such much pain he started taking pain killers and fentanol which eventually led to his overdose. Prince wasn't taking drugs for fun. He was in pain.

Prince was the penultimate musical performer. He was simply amazing as an artistic person. To the point of being too eccentric at times. He played a whole concert in the dark once because, I believe, he was upset that people were not enjoying his music but, instead, the flashy show. I mean, most of those who went to the concert had been enjoying his music on cassette tape or the radio without being distracted by his showmanship and had come to enhance their Prince experience by seeing that showmanship. Prince almost always wore heels and was a little selfconcious about his height. What Prince could do in his dancing are things I couldn't even come close to doing BUT HE ALSO DID IT IN HEALS! One of my biggest regrets in life is that I never went to see Prince live and I live in Minnesota. I got to see Morris Day and the Time once, which was fire, but never saw Prince. RIP Prince.

Prince always had on heels in every one of his performance. If you have not seen his Little Red Corvette video, you will see him move in heels. Every performance he has heels.

Absolutely. I was very athletic and worked out with weights a lot for decades. Needed a double hip replacement when I reached my 40s. I was pretty shocked because I wasn’t wearing heels. But sometimes the people who are trying to be healthy are getting more surgeries than somebody who doesn’t 😂

Recklezz, a lot of us grew up with Prince so we have seen all of his videos and know what he wore and how he danced in his high heel boots! It's great to see you notice all of his eccentricities! I for one love it! A true reaction. Welcome to the world of Prince! He was his OWN show! Didn't copy anyone! RIP Prince! And know that you still bring joy and wonder to folks young and old!
