First Time Hearing Shinedown - The Dead Don't Die (Reaction!!) 

You can't go wrong with ANY Shinedown song. From banger to ballad, they're always on point.

Shinedown is my favorite band. I've been listening to them since Us And Them came out. Their music got me through my military career, school, dealing with depression and ptsd from said military. And honestly, Brent is one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet. I got to tell him my story and how much his music meant to me, and I was basically sobbing. He came out from the table and gave me the longest hug and absolutely held no judgement. They've always been about mental health and dealing with abuse, which is why I was drawn to their music. Sound of Madness, Save me, and Call me are my favorites.

Shinedown is definitely a band that you should explore further on the channel. Love their sound. ❤

Shinedown has been doing songs about mental health & humanity for 20yrs. Their getting bigger. There headlining bigger venues now. Dead 💀 Don’t Die is no 2 on the rock charts. They have the record for the most number 1s, have the most Top 10s on the rock charts. I have tickets to see them in April.

Amaryllis is a fantastic song by Shinedown. They are very talented and sound exactly like the studio versions live

The song is an anthem of perseverance, resilience, and embracing the suck. PS check Cut the Cord. It came out in a time where I was close to a relapse and it was a motivator for me to not give in. I bet I listened to that song a thousand times in the first month it was out. Basically every moment where I was weak and at risk. I owe the boys of Shinedown a great deal.

If you want to check out Shinedown's best song IMHO, you need to go back to 2008 and listen to "Sound of Madness". It's a banger of the highest order.

Oh you gotta check out "What a Shame" and "I Own You". Vocal range is insane.

An amazing band. Just as good in the studio or live. Their lyrics always hit deep. They can get into your head and explain exactly how you're feeling. It's uncanny. Love them a lot

You wanna jump down a rabbit hole, Shinedown is an excellent band to do so with! They've got an extensive catalog of amazing songs and can do it all: hard rockers, ballads, trippy shit that doesn't really fit one genre, stuff that can still have tears pouring from my eyes even after all these years, etc. They've been my favorite band more than half my life, and there isn't a single song I dislike, though of course there's some I love more than others. I've also seen them in concert more than anyone else, and they are AMAZING live! Amaryllis is probably my favorite album, but I honestly love them all, and they feature heavily in all of my playlists because there's something for every mood lol "Unity" is my favorite song from them. It's one of those that can still gut me 10+ years later, probably because of where I was mentally/emotionally when it first came out, but it's still such an awesome song!

Their cover of Simple Man is a good listen. 45 is another 1 of my faves. Sound Of Madness is pretty killer too an as others have mentioned Cut The Cord is awesome too!

Shinedown video of Simple Man❤❤

Oddly enough, not very commercial from my perspective. My son was a big fan nearly two decades ago, but I really didn't hear anything mainstream. I really liked their sound but didn't find may folks who knew of them... until they covered "Simple Man". That cover was better than the original by a factor of 10 and put them back on the radar.

Man … the ups and downs of Shine Down … I saw them when they where barely known and “45” was there big hit live and thought they could go big time… then I saw them as a supporting act for Five Finger Death Punch and there set was littered with I’ll timed pyrotechnic and musical errors… then we are back to strong vocals and quality supporting music riffs … classic rock n roll band things
