I love how ANYONE who hears this song will be singing along by the last chorus. If not earlier!

Tears for Fears is a great duo and they still tour today. "Shout' was one of their biggest hits, but another song of theirs I recommend is 'Sowing the Seeds of Love.' Or 'Head Over Heels'.

For whom that have sung this song in 1984 (and for years after) it's joyfull watching the reaction of young people that don't know it.

This has been my favorite band along with The Bee Gees since the mid-80's. Lots of great music to explore from them. Most think of them as an 80's pop band but they are so much more than that. They still tour and are working on a new album.

I remember hearing this song on the Jukebox when it first came out. Of course, there are no visual effects listening to it on the Jukebox but, I always thought of this song as more of a chant. And every time someone would play this song, everybody who packed the house on a Friday or Saturday night, who had something to complain about, whether it would be their job, their girlfriend, or whatever, would all stomp their feet and go into this dance, just like in the video, chanting these words to who ever was standing next to them. Yes... I have very fond memories of those times, any time I hear this song.
