I love your interpretation of this song. I’ve watched three different reviews, and by far you captured the true essence of what this great song really means and meant to those of us who were raised in the 80s. Prayers for you 🙏🏾
I found myself singing the last verse directly to you - nothing ever lasts forever. I truly hope your situation improves. My heart goes out to you and your people.
Thank you for this reaction. Most of the reactions I've seen are from people who don't live where they're at the mercy of those who think nothing of using violence to get what they want. They react with joy, at the tone of the music, but don't recognize the grief in it. I hope you're doing ok. Hang in there!
This song was written and performed in the 80’s and it is timeless. I live in the United States and we have an ex president among others who wants to rule the world so nothing has changed since the song was written. It doesn’t matter what country you live in. Governments and ppl are power hungry everywhere on our planet. Hang in there sister you are part of the rest of the worlds oppressed population just wanting freedom!!!!! Just saying. ❤️
@@SWTSU You sound like a typical democrat. Something is said that upsets their precious worldview and they freak out, like a 2 year old. You need to retreat to your safe space and cuddle with your participation trophy.
always loved this song. but i understand for you, has other meanings. sad to see you cry, be positive, we dont all want to rule the world, some of us just want to be happy :)
I thought of a band that have very few react videos, and thought I'd tell you about them first. The Cocteau Twins. I went through the four albums I have (on youtube), and picked a few for you to chose from if you're interested. I prefer no music video, and they don't have many lyric videos, so maybe Google the lyrics? BUT, only some of their lyrics are in English. I used to hear she used words from the Irish Gaelic, and probably some old English words as well as other languages, but I've gone my entire adult life singing sounds to them instead of words. I've read that they prefer emotions over meaning, and are described as Dream Pop. They may help you through this trying time. They are etherial. "Ivo" "Loreli" "Blue Bell Knoll" "Carolyn's Fingers" "Kissed Out Red Floatboat" "Aikea Guinea"
You certainly felt that hun This is probably one of the less “deep” tff tracks, brilliant though it is Check out “woman in chains” or “ the working hour” they will blow you away 👍👍👍
@@PemisCorner, I second that recommendation! Woman In Chains and The Working Hour will really move you and you will love it! Keep hanging in there Pemi! We have bad things happening in America too but we have hope and we will fight for justice, right along with you!
What are you talking about, EWtRtW is wonderful, perfect at the time, perfect still + nostalgia. I do think The Working Hour is even better though, but not a huge fan of woman in chains, but Swords and Knives from that album is magic.
I know that maybe or maybe not that this song I heard it I'm not going to say cuz I don't know when you've been born I don't heard this song A long time ago are you just late
