One of the most influential to bands in history. This song is later in their career after the passing of legendary drummer Keith Moon. Pete Townsend (guitar) is a genius songwriter and musical innovator. He sings lead on this song but that’s usually Roger Daltry’s job. John Entwistle playing the incredible bass. You should react to the entire Who’s Next album. It’s a masterpiece from start to finish.

Greetings from Canada. In the first rank of the "British Invasion": The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, and Pink Floyd. Loved all of them. Then Jethro Tull in 1968 and Zep came along in Jan 1969. My universe had all it needed until 10cc, Supertramp, Dire Straits, and Eurythmics. Good times. Peace, love and bellbottoms.

You mentioned Led Zeppelin, but if any other British band could give them a run for their money, it is The Who. For me it is toss up, their well is deep dig into it. They are "AA" class!
