This has been one of my favorite songs since I was a little girl hearing it for the first time. Thanks for sharing your reaction. You are such a kind and loving person. I so remember those fishing trips with my brothers and my dad. My husband lost a cousin a few years ago in child birth. It was so devastating. She had two healthy twin girls via C-section, but hemorrhaged really bad and had 2 blood transfusions. She passed of an infection 3 days after birth. Her poor husband. Those were their first children. Her parents stepped in and helped him get through a lot at the beginning, since he lived near them. She was back in Taiwan. We had already moved back to the states. I really hope she got to hold them and they have pictures of that.

I’ve watched so many reactions to this and you are only the second reactor that I have seen catch the fact that she survived at the end. Thank you for your beautiful reaction and beautiful words. Your Dad must have been (and still is) so proud of you.

This song hits me harder than ever. Im the only girl and the youngest of the family. When i was giving birth to my oldest my dad was at a funeral the doc called him and said my heart stopped and they needed his signature since i was 17 to do an emergency c-section to save the baby. When he got in his truck this is the song that he heard and he kept saying dont take my baby girl. Since he passed this is his way of saying hi to me

This one hits home for me. When my baby mama (former ex wife, now gf, long story) was in the hospital in labor with our soon to be 18 year old daughter she started having violent seizures it was just me in the room and I hit the nurse call button in a panic and literally had tears streaming down my face thinking i was losing the love of my life and my daughter before I got to see her. This last verse of this song kills me puts me in that position i was as a 19 year old thinking he was about to lose everything.

I'm not an emotional person, very few songs give me sad chills, this is one of those songs. My husband and I know what it's like to make a split-second decision, when our oldest daughter was pregnant, we were going to concert in a park, but she looked off, not like herself. We stopped at the hospital to have her checked out, it was 7 weeks before her due date. The nurse told us we could see her in a few minutes so we went to the coffee shop and grabbed some coffee, we went back up to where she was and a nurse grabbed me and said we have to go, we got in front of the delivery room and the Dr ran out and said you have less than 5 minutes, do I save your daughter or the baby, my husband and I said our daughter at the same time, well, that Dr pulled off a miracle because both our daughter and granddaughter made it. Our daughters blood pressure had skyrocketed and they had to take the baby before they could give our daughter the meds she needed. Our granddaughter is now 30 years old and the momma of 3 beautiful kids. The good Lord was guiding the Dr that day because we could have easily lost both. I call her Cabbage Patch because for the first 4 months of her life only Cabbage Patch Doll clothes fit her,

Fishing was fun with my brother, sisters and parents at a young age

Some thoughts for you. Losing a parent is so hard. But - it is the order of things. My dad was gone before i knew him. My momma been gone 10 years. That was so hard. But - we lost my grandson at 10 days old. That is not the order of things. With his loss - i thought i would loose my daughter as well. It took time - but she rose from those ashes like a little phoenix. She would say that she did not want her son to be remembered as the one that made his momma go... she wanted him to be remembered with love and joy. She participated in many March of Dimes events and donated blood - and took friends to donate as often as she could. I love hearing the stories of your dad. Live to make him proud. Show the world how fantastic he was by being that wonderful person he guided you to be. Let the sad come when it needs to - but don't live there. Live in the brightness of the time you had. 💚

This song was the very first song I heard when I moved fron ny to Texas and I never listened to country until I moved to Texas and heard this song in the radio I fell in love with country music and became a big fan of a Tim Mcgraw this song I've always loved Great reaction

When I found your channel a couple months ago, I didn't know that I NEEDED to subscribe. You see, I lost my momma back in 2020. Covid took her and she passed alone. Before I found your channel I just ignored my grief. I worked crazy hours - sometimes 70 hours a week. When the gyms opened up again I then worked out when I wasn't working. I thought I had handled my grief like a boss! Truth is, I hadn't handled it at all! Thank you for crying with me! I miss my momma so much!

One of the earliest country songs I listened to as a kid, still a great song. I'd love for you to react to "Already Gone" or "Hold On To Memories" by Disturbed, the two songs I played the most after my grandmother passed away. They hurt, but they helped to heal, especially "Hold On To Memories".

I am a 67 yr old white man. My 18 yr old Son introduced this song to my wife. He was my carbon copy. See at 23 he was taken in a rollover car accident as a passenger in St. Louis. So I ball every time I hear this song. Also The Dance. God Bless you brother. That was October 8th 2004.

Lost my father 10yrs ago when died i thought being by his bedside on his last would be hard. He had all seven of children there with are mother. Told mom he wanted to go home he did mean his house. One hour later while layed there he smiled really big and passed. That's when I knew he went to a better place and gave me closure. At that time I knew I would see my father again. You will see your father again the grief will be hard the first year as it was for me. There are times I can't believe it's been 10yrs already. Only thing hard me is when I visit his grave because he's there with my mother now and my late wife my brother and his daughter on that same plot it's to overwhelming to feel that much grief 💔😢 god blessings on you 🙏

Here he had a tumor the size of a grapefruit. And didn't know it. It was stage 4. Two weeks later he was gone. It was so sad. Crazy how life can change in a instant. Thanks

I don’t know how you do it by being so helpful to others while you yourself are going through literal hell. My faith is all I have. I lost my ex husband October 14, 2021. He loved he other so much from the time we were 15 years old. We even married twice 2 save our family and our 2 children. He remarried 16 years before his death. She hated me and my kids for the 1st years of their lives. And when grand babies began coming, she acted like she was best “glamerousmon” yes she made my precious grand babies her mission to take my daughter and her kids one the elaborate vacations they took. My ex had to pay for all the expenses and buy her a house though claiming illegally he made more money than he did and borrow money he had to take loans out to pay for by paying off bank officers and to finance the loans. Because he had to send her on a separate trip with body guards. All she did was lay in bed doing drugs. She made him pay all her top of the top line body guards or she would get highin front of my grandchildren & make him miserable. If she is uattempted to put a stop to it, she would beat the crap out of him. He had so many black eyes and she made him change his will and hide it from the courts making him pay for it. He had to dress the old him every thing that she or she. Anything bad you can’t imagine she did. Your routine prayers would be appreciated
