📌Welcome! Who is Diana Ankudinova? (Pronounced: Dee-ah-nah Ahn-kuh-dee-no-vah) Diana was born in May 2003 in the Far East of Russia. (Height: 1,70 m/ 5,7” ) She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman who gave birth to her had many pregnancies, only Diana survived ... and she abused the child and tried to drown it. One day this 3 year old child was found at a bus stop with a broken collarbone and taken to an orphanage. There she finally found love ... by Irina Ponik, a massage therapist who treated the children from the children's home. Diana came to a poor but loving family when she was 5 years old. Diana spoke badly, cried a lot and was still very scared, but she could all sing songs from cartoons. A doctor recommended singing lessons. And so, the singing teacher Elena Kazantseva discovered Diana's talent. And all started … Diana has something primal, mystical, but also sensitive and sensual in her voice and she lives her songs. She also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her range C3-D6) and her voice sometimes has polyphonic overtones. In 2018 and 2019 Diana entered a unique competition and won twice. This project is unique in the world, an international TV- competition: 'You are Super', especially for adopted and orphaned children. The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to RU-vid and soon she had millions of fans. She is our goosebump queen. The project producers help the finalists start their studies and encourage their creativity. Diana won a scholarship. Igor Krutoy, here as a juror, gave her a small apartment (37m²/398,26 ft²) in Moscow. There, in the small flat she lives with her mother and grandmother and was able to begin her vocal training with the best teachers. 2020 Diana graduated from high school with honors as an external student a year earlier than it is 'normal'. That alone shows how smart and hardworking she is. She applied to music colleges and was rejected (examiners suspected she had a voice defect). But she is totally normal and healthy. Now she is a student at the university, at the legendary Russian State Institute for Theater and Variety Arts.
