We're so happy to see you getting a prestigious sponsorship like this - it's very well deserved! We are going on an Alaska-Hawaii cruise in September (different cruise line) so this was particularly interesting to us.
You convinced us to take a Princess Cruise to Alaska within the first 10 minutes! Thank you for such a great insightful video. We always love your content.
Aww that’s great. If you click the link in the description and then book, it supports the channel at no cost to you. Any questions feel free to DM me on Instagram or Facebook
Very good video and reporting, and it’s really nice to see something from a cruise virgin as it gives a new perspective. We had been to Alaska on a similar cruise but were luckier with the weather and all our excursions happened. Bear watching, whale watching, helicopter to glacier with husky sledging etc so we were so lucky. Look forward to part 2. Best wishes from Hertfordshire
💖I absolutely love your videos…you inspire me to keep adding to my bucket list 😉. Japan has been on my bucket list for the longest time, finally booked a 3 week vacay with hubby this coming November, sooo excited!!! I’ve watched a lot of your Japan videos for inspiration & planning, thanks to you I’ve added Takayama to my itinerary. Thank you so much for all the AMAZING work that you do, love the commentary…you never fail to make me 🤣…sending you hugs from Melbourne Australia 🤗💖
Great that you are getting sponsorship but why has it taken so long. Your videos are the best out there. Shame they didn't include Jacki. Always look forward 5o your posts. Thanks.
I'm so glad you've finally tried a cruise :) it looks like you enjoyed it! Would you do another one? I've only been on P&O Cruises and loved it. Alaska looks beautiful. I can't wait for the next video :)
This is definitely a cruise I want to take and would have but had to postpone. May I ask which month you took yours? Would hate to miss out on the excursions because of the weather since I've been wanting to go for the experiences for such a long time. Thank you, loved watching it.
Hey. I went at the start of May. I think it is quite a rainy place in general but have a google to see best months but I guess over the summer. Be good to catch the salmon run too!
It seems like it was great trip, many places to visit plus the activities on the cruise and the food looks delicious as well, sounds fun, hopefully one day 🤞🏻
Harriet and I have done that cruise twice. It never gets old. A nice video guide that hits all the right notes. Looking forward to Part 2 . Be Well. Stay Safe🙏🙏 Harriet and Jim
Great video! We are going on the Discovery Princess next month to Alaska out of Seattle. I did not know about the restaurant 360 until I saw your video. It’s booked solid, hopefully there will be a cancellation. Cheers
The 360 dining experience looked like total fun! I’ve never been interested in Alaskan cruise but this has peaked my interest. Never heard of such method of speeding up wine’s process. Thank you for excellent video!❤️🇨🇦
I’ve discovered your videos over the past week as I’ve been stuck at home (sick with covid) and dreaming of our family’s next road trip adventure (hopefully to Banff and Jasper!). I especially enjoyed this one though because I grew up in Ketchikan, Alaska and love the summertime there-complete with massive cruise ships ♥️. Thank you for your beautiful, funny videos! They are truly inspiring and so much fun.
Enjoyed watching this like all your other videos. You are definitely the best on RU-vid for travel, the quality of your videos are top notch. Excellent Well done and thank you
Been watching for ages, so glad to see your videos finally getting the recognition and sponsorships they deserve. Your camera work and humour, fantastic.
Of all the political territories in Canada and the US, here's mind boggling trivia killer! Nunavut is 1st in size, Northwest Territories is 2nd, Quebec is 3rd, Ontario is 4th and Alaska is 5th in size! Texas? 11th! Yes, Alaska is big but it's not the biggest! And, yes, we are duplicating this trip in just 7 days!
Alaska is a must-do on my list. We can fly up for free (my husband works for Alaska Airlines) and yet, I still haven't been! 🤦🏻♀️ This must be rectified. 👍 As always, your videography is stunning. Beautiful!
Concept of being on a cruise ship waking up in new locations, watching the “vista” develop and change and seeing wildlife (whales) does appeal. Less appealing is the sense of “being closed in” and finding your own “space”: and how much “real” do you have viewing wildlife and take trips. So I’m conflicted, guess it’s about compromises and that’s tough when traditionally being able to be flexible on what to do when and more or less and how has worked. Be interesting to see you next v-log which I am guessing will dig deeper into life on board, rooms, facilities and total cost. ( cruise companies web sites are not overly helpful) Not dismissed as for sure as yiu get older taking a cruise may become more appealing . Lastly, as usual yiu have produced a super summary of something that is of interest and a sloght change of direction from your usual awesome vacation/ trip videos . Still no Tofino ❤😂
You sold it to me in the first 5 min!!! I’m soooo excited!! I can’t wait to book and go! I’ve been searching for cruises and couldn’t make up my mind and when I saw your video, I just knew I had to go! I never considered cruising Alaska but my oh my is it beautiful! Can’t wait!!!!
Just returned from 6 week holiday in the UK & Europe, helped by your videos. Canada and Alaska inside passage is on the list for next year so this is very timely. Thank you very much, once again.
Could you please help me with these. 1) which month did you travel in? 2) Will we be able to see icebergs etc if we only go up to Skagway for instance? Note your cruise has been upto Ketchikan and the scenery is breathtaking. If travelling in Aug. thank you.
Most of the jewelry stores are owned by the cruise companies and not locals. They shutdown in the fall and don't open again until the fall. Please do not go to these. Ask shopkeepers if they are open year round or how long they've lived in town to get an idea of they're locals. It's expensive to live in Alaska and it's sad that many tourists spend in these non-local shops. I was in Juneau a month ago and noticed that many tourists didn't go above a certain street although there were many businesses to visit like Indian food, local breweries, and local shops.
Detest cruises but if it was free I’m sure I could be persuaded 😂😂. Great vid as always mate, been a subscriber since the beginning and it’s great to see the channel thriving and getting top drawer sponsors….huge congrats, you and your lovely wife deserve it ❤
Ok...this has convinced me to add Alaska to my list. And it looks like Princess offers an incredible experience! Thanks again for your beautiful video!
Another beautifully shot video. Well done. We have yet to make it to Alaska, but a cruise is exactly what we will be doing. Thanks for sharing. - Coreen
Wrong video. I did a cruise guide which covers more of the practical stuff. Although this video is filled with thoughts so maybe it won’t be for you either
You can still expect rain in Juno in September. We went last September and the weather was perfect everywhere else but Juno. Don't let it spoil your fun though.
@@SuitcaseMonkeydo you think she would have enjoyed it? A shame to have a suite and be in it all alone. You are spoiled for future trips in "a regular" cabin.
