This was my first time in Laragne, staying at the Camping de Montéglin site with super friendly staff. The Chabre launch is 2 hours hike from the camp site or you can catch a shuttle bus which unfortunately wasn’t running when I was there in June.
There are lots of flight options here but I decided to fly the Chabre challenge route which @FlyingKarlis posted on his website, and has now created a book on the area. You should check this out his book if your going to the area as the information in the Chabre challenge PDF is amazing and was free.
Landing out isn’t a problem in this location as there are main roads going north from the Chabre ridge and then towards Gap. There is also great train and bus services to help you get back to the camp site at night.
