you have so much to learn buddy, I would watch RU-vid tutorials but even those won't catch everything about the game or you could just wing it which you seem to enjoy, project zomboid fans just loved to scream at you with everything you need to do because we just love this game

IT's so cool seeing you get into this game, Im closing to 1000+ hours on this game and hands down it's my favorite!

This game is by far my favorite zombie survival game. Stick with it and you will only get better and learn to enjoy it even more. Once you start introducing mods, it changes everything

Love seeing people learn the game, it’s a really good game so I’m glad it’s been getting more if the attention it deserves. Here’s a tip, when you’re fighting zombies you wanna put the circle of the crosshair at the foot of the zombie you’re trying to hit. Also you can turn aim outline to “always on.” Doing this will put a green outline around the zombie that you’re about to hit, it really help if you’re struggling with the weird top down view while trying to fight zombies

Classic first time zombie player: Thinking that finding/having a gun with like 10 bullets will somehow help in a zombie apocalypse with thousand of zombies everywhere all waiting to hear a single gun shot to storm into your location

Tutorials help if you need more ideas on how to survive. But the best way to learn is by playing and enjoying the game. Hope to see you play this game live JMW

I dunno if you did, but you can turn on a highlighted cursor (that you can set to appear for ALL weapons) that highlights the zombies when you can hit them. And do NOT do what you did in this video. running into them to fight them is a horrible idea. Take a wide birth of corners, always push against doors if they dont have a window before opening them. This will attract any zombies in the room. NEVER have your back to an open doorway. Never loot anything that isnt food, water, or medical supplies before getting a bag. Always have a second or even 3rd way out of a house. Always start with atleast 1 clothing item that is specifically for tearing into bandages. Most importantly, have fun.

This is a funny Playthrough. Watching you run over zombies just to get attacked and swing a miss the zombie.

I recommend nurse she's somewhat of an expert on the jobs and some of the traits in this game.

Project Zomboid is great but Project Zomboid with mods is even better. You get a backpack upgrade mod, a solar arrays mod, an irragation pipe mod for watering your crops, etc.

The suburbs is the best place to survive and blocking doors to stay alive and guns are bad because they attract zeds and you can make rope for 2 story houses

@jmw, hey James! Will you try to make it more routine to establish a schedule ahead of time & post it in "Community" the way you did for last week... This was my first time seeing this game, it is creepy the way the zombies fade. I was 😂when you said "The house is on fire & I'm naykyd..." I just thought, maybe you should tone down those weekend parties at your place!🤣The melee system does look pretty bad tho. Anyway, I like the idea of doing some different games so things don't get stagnant for you or fans but it can also be problematic just doing one session with dozens of different games & never playing them again as some will want to see more sessions with certain games.

Look into Mods if you're sticking to single player, but alot of mods do work on multiplayer too. Also check out some tutorial vids to help you learn all the different things you can do in this game.

I am considering picking this up, but I am curious about a few things: Do zombies get stronger as the days pass? Do zombies spawn logically, or will they always appear where you are, no matter where that is or what precautions you take?

You need to learn how to do a combat. Basically in combat mode, walk backwards when zombies come at you. It will give you much more space to fight multiple zombies.

I always like to do a restless sleeper/sleepy head combination. It doesn't really change much and it gives you plenty of points to work with.

It would be pretty cool if there were rp servers.

why are the fonts so big?

I'll have to try and give this game another shot. Played it for like 20minutes total a while back and the UI and controls bothered me. Everything seemed very clunky and it pissed me off in a survival zombie situation. I of course died both short plays I tried and then rage quit. Looks fun if I could get over and learn the shitty UI/controls.

I am so torn on this game. It has so many cool, deep mechanics and ways to play. But the one bite kills are ridiculous.
