First Time Playing World of Warcraft Classic - 2024 - Ep.10 Level Up For my First Dungeon 

Bit of a grindy one this, as I'm trying to level up to lvl18 in order to be in a better position to take on my first ever WoW dungeon!

One of my favourite series to watch on RU-vid right now, love it when a new episode pops up!

Don't be afraid to do also the yellow quests. They are mainly on your level. Green ones are bit lower, so they are just more easy, but don't often reward as much XP. So overall learning and experiencing the game, it's fun to do all green ones too. For some more advanced player, they might focus on harder quests for better xp for played time. But don't care about efficiency yet. :) For example when you did some quests there, you killed some level 6 mobs, they were gray to you, as they don't give any xp when killed. You can see the color based on level in the target portrait. 17:55 When you wondered that strange thing above you, it was some debuff what the mobs caster earlier. You can see the exact details near your minimap, hovering with mouse. Usually the debuffs last for short time, there it was already fading away in few seconds. When using your Frost Nova spell, remember it has short range. Sometimes you tried to use when mob was far away. And when you use it to freeze mob which is already in melee range, always step at least few steps away from mob right after it's frozen. That way it won't get hits to you while you are casting your next spells. Thanks again for the video!

What a fun series, I can't wait to see you delve into The Deadmines dungeon! My tip to you is that it seems that on a few occasions, you wanted to interact with other players but haven't actually engaged in a conversation with them. Imo classic is a very socially driven game, so asking a player if they want to team up or making sure they are doing (or mind helping with) a quest you're on - goes a long way! e.g. shouting for help when you were dealing with the murlocs, maybe that player just didn't realize you were in trouble there. Some ways to interact beyond just a normal chat message are: 1. You can send whispers via right-click a player portrait, or type "\w {playername}" in chat. Whispers aren't limited by distance in-game, so you can whisper anyone at any time. 2. Use the general chat - it's zone-wide and a good way to find players to quest with. Type "\1" for general chat. 3. Try using the social tab (shortcut 'o') to find other players in specific zones or level ranges, and then you can whisper them to help out with difficult or group quests. Hope that helps! Something I noticed, your frost nova spell will freeze enemies in place for a short period. You can use this spell to create distance since your attacks are ranged. I noticed sometimes you used it and stayed within range of the enemy. At level 20 you will get an ability called blink which can teleport you a short distance and create more space between you and the enemy. I also noticed that you have two fireballs on your action bar so I just wanted to ask you to check that you’re not using the lower rank one. Cheers!

So the reason why your wand kept resisting is because weapons have skill levels. 2:01 You can see that you're leveling it up but it needs to be higher for it to hit. You can press 'u' and then go to the 'skills'tab to see your progress. Regarding quests: Generally speaking you want to avoid quests and mobs that are green, as they'll give less xp. If you've outleveled a quest it might be better to just skip it (unless it's part of a quest chain you want to complete, of course).

Make sure you do some pre quests in Westfall (where the first dungeon is) because they lead to secondary quests inside the dungeon, that gives better loot as reward. The quests are not difficult to find, they are at or around the Westfall Guard tower at Sentinel Hill , which you will visit anyway before going to that dungeon. If you do those quest at lvl 15-16 you will be fine. The whole story line around this event is quite nice, if you are into such things... It's the beginning of a long saga that goes all the way to lvl 60 Oh and when a cute gnome tells you something , you should always listen. No mechanostrider for you, mister! and finally, don;t forget the world chat. At your Elite perils with Old Icebeard or whatshisname, the thing to do is not, wait until you stumble upon a random passerby, but you should type /1 (area chat) or /4 (world chat) 'Hi, does anybody want to team up for Old Icebeard? , wow slang that would be: 'mage LFM Old Icebeard' If /4 doesn't return world chat it means you need to join that channel first with /join world

Looks like you have add-ons! I only just noticed. :D There is a real banger of an add-on called Bagnon. It consolidates all of your bags into one big one. Handy!

Love the new intro, Marc! I don't know if you can get a cockroach. The cockroach vendor is in the Undercity, which is one of the horde capitals. But maybe there's another place to get them? I honestly don't know. The mechanostriders are the gnome racial mount. You can get them if you grind your reputation with the Gnomeregon Exiles faction, but like the horse you can't until at least Lv 40 lol. They really want to make you walk everywhere. When enemies have that gold dragon around their name it means they're significantly stronger than you. Even if it's a level below you, it's still pretty tough. You need to know what you're doing to take them out, and still it's better to take them on with an ally. Caves in WoW are some of the deadliest places lol. You're in such an enclosed space, and by the time you get to the end of it everything around you has respawned. It's a nightmare for Hardcore players. So many deaths there.

Yeah, this episode was little slow. Its average classic experience, due to low damage output hehe. Btw, i was mistaken about roach pet. I checked the Stormwind and the guy doesn't sell anything (but i definitely remember the guy selling something, now there is nothing 😢). But there is a small boy Timmy sells a small cat pet. I am looking forward to more vids hehe

Loving the series. But you should use your Frost Nova more actively, than run from enemy melee range. I recommend to bind Frost Nova on button "F". Yeah, you can rebind buttons of your panel for spells, instead of just standart 1 to 0

Loving this series but as a wow player it’s very frustrating 😂 Stop selling your linen you need it for your tailoring profession!

Honestly longer episodes would be totally fine if you didn't want to spend so much time editing to below 30 min!
