First Time Playing World of Warcraft Classic - 2024 - Ep.11 Preparing for Westfall 

Preparing as much as I can in order to level up enough to take on what awaits me in Westfall so that I can prepare for my first dungeon.

This intro was top notch quality, absolute gold, I love it!

It's good that the Narrator chose black and white footage , that fits well with all the grey hairs I get from watching each Episode of this Festival of Errors 😋

For key binds I recommend: "1" for Frostbolt "2" for Arcane Missiles "3" for Fire Ball "F" for Frost Nova "H" for Health Potions "Shift+H" for Mana Potions For future spells: "Q" for Mana Shield "E" for Blink "R" for Cone of Cold "T" for Arcane Blast "C" for Counter Spell

If your hand is aching using those keybinds then remember that you can change the keybinds to what suits you. If you’ve been given something that doesn’t suit you then change it. Personally I wouldn’t have anything with a shift modifier in the core rotation like you have fireball now on shift F. I just use the basic action bar 1 to 6 keys for the rotation and then use keys like Q, E, F etc for more occasional but quick access spells like stuns, interrupts, defensives and heals.

Loved that little stealth mission to get in the cave lol. You'll get used to the sensitivity, and if not you can always adjust it to something more comfortable. You could have bowed before King Magni with the /bow command. Though I don't know if I would, he might be turning villainous in the upcoming expansion. Maybe. Idk I'm not paying much attention. Whenever I'm in a city or something, I have the camera zoomed in closer to myself so that I can see where I'm going, then zoom back out when I might get into fights. It's just a more comfortable way to play for me, personally. Then I don't have trees and buildings getting in the way in a place that should be a bit more relaxing.

I can totally relate with pinky hurting much after intensive dungeon session. So, personally I don't use shift key for much. You can use Alt key instead, and for me its more convenient. Like instead of Shift+F you can press Alt+F. Some advanced users use extended macro addon to write longer macros (normally writing macro is limited to 200 characters) for spell rotation combos. Ex: you can write macro which can shift spell, like after casting frost bolt macro switches the spell to fire bolt or blast and you cast it then it switch to frost nova etc. Or you can use macro to switch between 2 spells, like pressing Alt switches between firebolt and frostbolt. Some classes especially Rogues rely on combo orientated spells for more damages, so macro is quite useful for them. I know its more advanced but you can design them how you like it. For the keybindings, I recommend you don't copy them totally from anyone else. Just take example, and then think what suits you. What keys are easiest for you to press. And avoid binding something like Fireball, which you propably use frequently, to anything with needs shift (or ctrl or any modification). Just need to think the spells you need, and where you fingers go easiest. And when you get more experience about the spells, it's good way to adapt and rethink if you don't need something so ofter, what you used in early game, then feel free to throw it away to some harder keybind, and get the things you need always to easy slots. And you can even bind your mouse buttons. For example when you later get the teleport spell ("Blink"), some players like to bind that kind of moving ability to mouse wheel up. But that's really up to you what works.

Don’t be afraid to make your own keybinds that feel comfortable don’t feel you have to use the binds suggested to you….also you can turn the mouse sensitivity down in the dreaded options menu 👍 can’t wait for deadmines loving the series that intro had me cracking up

When you visit mage trainer in the end, and learner the new Fireball, rank 3. Might be that you need to move that new best rank spell from your spellbook to action bars to get the spelle into use. Quite common mistake ever for more experienced players to check that they use the best spells, easy to forget! :) And you was there was green spells in Arcane category, which you didn't learn. Worth to look them if you need, at least there was better food to make, and slow fall, what makes you able to jump on very high hills, and slowly fall down without taking damage or dying. Sometimes handy.

9:50 you see that tiny red button with an arrow Icon, in the top right corner of your map menu (near the X button to close map with your mouse)? I think that clicking on it will show your map in full screen, instead of little window. 23:00 the greyed out spells are the ones you already learned. Click on filter to disable their visibility (top right corner of the learning spells menu)

I think shift-F is advanced stuff, you could try abandon that and just do single keys. and 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 are also easily reachable, maybe use those for the most used spells? (But F, G, E, Q are also great choices) The ideas that your left hand rests on the WASD keys position, and then you just press the keys around (and above) those 4 keys for the most used attacks (frost bolt, fireball,, etc. just limit it to about 4 keys until you are familiar with that and only then build upon that. But I don;t understand why they tried to help you by introducing SHIFT+Key, that's really inconvenient for beginners.

The voice... the editing... the ambience.. perfect! Just one thing that I'd change and that is to make the ingame music a bit louder for sure...
