In the card game, if you play miss fortune and Vi together miss fortune tries to flirt with vi but she basically just responds that she is already taken by the sheriff 😂
I love after the Yordles video, there was no link to Corki and Lulu, and then Dee goes "wait" and finds Corki later in the video after insisting it's Heimer

Fun fact, the lore between Renekton (the crocodile) and Nasus (the Anubis character) are actually really sad. The two are brothers, Nasus is the wise older brother and Renekton the strong younger brother. They're ascended, meaning they're like man-made gods so they were human before. They were not born I to nobility but we're born commoners. Nasus was a scholarly guy and ended up working at the palace. Renekton was a violent kid that grew up to being a thug until his brother came back to offer him a spot in the emperor's army and he eventually worked his way up the ranks. At some point Nasus got really sick, like deathly sick so the emperor and his advisers decided that they should have Nasus ascended because he's super smart, useful and revered to loose. Part of the requirements to have someone be ascended is that someone has to climb up a set of stairs to the top where the sundisk will decide if the candidate is worthy of ascension, if they're unworthy they'll turn to dust upon contact with the sundisk's light. Nasus was too weak to reach the top and he was pretty much on borrowed time at that point so his brother, Renekton without any hesitation threw Nasus' arm over his and helped him up the stairs despite knowing the risk and not expecting to survive, he just wanted his brother to live. Of course they ended up ascended a d hugged and wooo big celebration. The comment is pretty long so the other half of the lore and the reason why Renekton was hell bent on fighting his brother in that video will be on you to read more about
Tresh was bounded to the Shadow Isles and after an event called "The Ruination" (which i sugest you to react) he was able to leave and now on the present day he is wandering in Noxus. We still don't know what or why he is there for... some think that he is after the secrets that are hidden beneath the Inmortal Bastion which is the biggest structure in Valoran(the continent where Demacia, Noxus and Freljord are). I really enjoy watching you girls!
@@MeeshDeeReacts also in-canon escaping his imprisonment on the Shadow Isles coincided with his new fleshy appearance. Out of canon they had to redesign him because skeleton characters aren't allowed in the Chinese market that Wild Rift (the mobile version of League) wanted to be in.
Not sure if anyone’s mentioned it already, but the 2 legged centaur creature would usually be called a Saytr or a Faun, rather than being half horse like Centaurs, their hooves actually come from being half goat! Living for all these reactions, hope y’all have a nice day! 🩵
yeah first time watching I was oh this dude is kinda handsome and in the end was why Riot why make the maniacal spirit become hot and wander the world unchained?
30:56 'Relatable' is the best word. Piltover and Zaun and its story is the most digestible for all audiences, when you think about it. And it's just enough fiction and fantasy to introduce you to the idea of a larger world out there. That's what makes LoL's Lore so fun, Runeterra, the world, is so dynamic and diverse!
23:30 Show don't tell, you can see that the yellow essence creates the barrier that the mother and him use to travel the shadow isles. He pours part of this essence into a system that also glows yellow, so we can figure out that the essence must be for preventing the spirits to go wild and try to invade other countries You can figure a couple more details from this cinematic, but it's better not to mention them for spoilers purpose
17:20 A Centaur is a creature with the torso of a human and the body of a horse while a Satyr/Faun is a creature with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a goat
Centaurs also use all 4 legs of the horse while a Satyr only has 2 legs so they can actually pass as a human if they hide their horns (which are usually somewhat small) and furry legs and hooves.
2:31 Those dudes are not actually brothers btw they are a couple :P but i think this cinematic takes place when they were still pals? They have like friends to enemies to friends again to lovers kind of storyline 27:06 3 years ago or smth a story event happened about these ghost stuff they even made a story driven sıngle player game about that storyline (Its called Ruined King if i think you guys should check that out and play it if you are interested its a good game :3) and Thresh got his human form at the end and left the island that you last saw him. This cinematic shows us what is he doing after that
About the last thresh video, to keep it spoiler free, he basically got more powerful in a story event and he got back his human form, that's the story explaination, but many don't like the human form as they prefer the original scary skeleton design But the real reason he looks like that is because of censorship in different countries, Riot was releasing mobile version of League of Legends called LoL Wild Rift, and because of his skeleton head, some countries don't allow that
I had no idea that there was a censorship reason behind the human Thresh model - I was definitely part of the community really against the idea of his human form initially.
@@rabbiddawg7935 Yep, in Wild Rift Thresh's default skin is the human form skin, I think if they had made the design more like the video thresh it would still be nice since the video thresh design looked more sinister and evil while the game splash art for human thresh only made him handsome 😐
Wasn't it mostly to do with China's censorship rules regarding skulls and ghoulish lookign skeleton characters in the media that has to do with cultural views more than anything? I'd be curious to know which other countries had the same reasons to ban it as China did.
@@edo27 I mean it's true as well, but I think there's probably other countries with censorship issues 🤔 also him being handsome is probably because of China's and Asia's messed up beauty standards, even the first 40 WR champs are all handsome, pretty and skinny champs with hardly any monster champs when it first released, because WR's target audience is Asia as MOBA phone games are more popular here
I’m surprised no one else in the comment section are correcting them about corki. Also why didn’t their editor have them see Lulu and corki champion information after the yordle video.
For the enormous dragon at the end of the "Call of the Mountain" cinematic, his name is Aurelion Sol, and he has a very, very short cinematic, which is essentially just him doing a narcissistic, borderline villain monologue, and it is great. Would recommend throwing it into a future video as just a small, little introduction to one of the really.... Existential level beings of the League of Legends universe.
Probably not the best video content. But I recommend everyone read the short story "Rise with me" on the League lore site. It's a series of journals and letters Leona and Diana write during their time at the Solari temple. It explores the beginning of their relationship before things fell apart.
Not quite. They were both Solari, then Diana kinda betrayed her people by going Lunari and that's what caused the riff. From what I remember anyway could be wrong.
It was added in after the fact. They weren’t meant to be a couple and were just abruptly made so. If you hang around any gay couples they NEVER refer to each other as brother. Riot just does this randomly. Like when they said Neeko is bi and the newest champion Aurora is autistic. Nothing about the design suggest any of these things but they are going for social points
@@vincentdarkrosrayneTF and Graves isn't like any stereotypical UwU gay couple, they're brutal bros in crime, despite their relationship. Stop with that nonsense, not every relationship has to be romantic heaven.
@@Aaniel_al.Meara. tell me you’ve never met gay couples without telling me. It’s almost like graves and tf we’re never designed to be a couple. They are close friends. They are only gay by different people that clearly don’t write the lore. It’s a clear usual case of pandering by the social team. Think about it from a writers and artist point of view. If you want to show a couple that is romantically involved in any way you have to make it so the audience can easily tell. Stop defending pandering. All it does is ruin whatever franchise it’s put in. Look at Star Wars and Disney stuff, for example.
Actually they are not a couple. If you read all their stories they are at most toying with the idea but they are also just too stubborn and awkward to actually confess or talk about it. Graves has slept with a lot of people (also woman) but never with TF. They are however partners in crime and very close (after a 10 year rivalry where Graves actually wanted to kill TF). And TF did jump into water to save Graves even though he can't swim
Don't mess with the Bandles missing champs: Lulu | Emperor's of the Ascended missing champs: Renekton, Azir | Call of The Mountain missing champs: Aurelion Sol
So Nasus, Renekton (the crocodile guy) and Azir (the bird looking guy), are all based on egyptian mythology. The gods they're based on being Anubis, Sobek and Horus, respectively. In League lore they are more or less demi gods, ascended human beings infused with power and knowledge by the Sun Disc. Which i think is the big disc that was shown at the end of the cinematic. Nasus and Renekton are actually brothers too, but Renekton was driven mad after his ascension and subsequent imprisonment, during the fall of the Shuriman Empire. Also, think of Mount Targon as Olympus more or less. Although Leona, Diana and the other "gods" are quite alike the Ascended of Shurima, and closer to demigods rather than full gods.
Now that ya'll have seen Nasus, Renekton and Azir, its time for: Shurima: Descent into the Tomb and Shurima: Rise of the Ascended! Really good stories!
Y'all are so cool :D I love seeing how excited you two get to learn more about the champs, even without playing the game. Loved your Arcane reactions as well!!
We appreciate you watching with us!! Lol it’s fun to dive into this world even though we don’t play the game at all 😅🙏🏼 thanks for being gentle with us!! LOL 💞
@@MeeshDeeReacts LOL no problem, as you mentioned its a huge world and lots to understand. I'll keep an eye out for more! Props to the editors for putting all these together for you too!!! Great job :)
Just a small recommendation, I think learning the map is a very easy and quick way to learn league universe. There you can see which champion is in each region.
30:27 Piltover and Zaun are probably the smallest regions in terms of size (I am not sure how big Ixtal is, since Ixtal is the fortified city in the region under the same name).
So the purple girl with horns is a weird one because there is a similar looking champion named Soraka. But the original lore said soraka is cursed to the form she got. This cinematic contradicts that. Since it shows there are species that look just like her. And then I think the latest lore is that soraka is a celestial being that is confined to a mortal body. I don’t know a ton about the lore but I wish it was more common knowledge about the species the purple people are
9:48 The yordles in the video are Teemo, Tristana, Lulu and Corki, all of them are playable characters in league. 16:55 fun fact, Leona and Diana, have a "Love" Story.
If you want to see more of those cute yordles, try another video of theirs "Pentakill Mortal Reminder" It's a music video for a band comprised of in game champions and it takes place in a little town full of yordles 🤭
Both of you NEED to watch Necrit's breakdown of the world of Runaterra, its called the Riot MMO World is already done or something ike that, that video will teach you almost everything about the regions and their plots
Seconding this! It may be a long video but I assure you it's such a good beginner breakdown for non league players with tons of information concentrated and made to be easy to follow
I would highly recommend watching "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done" by Necrit. The video describes the different regions of Runeterra very well, especially for Arcane fans who don't know anything about league.
The egyptian stuff is about two brothers becoming "gods". Renekton (the croc) gets pulled into a prison with a bad guy (Xerath) for a long time. Here he goes insane and blames his brother (the dog) for not saving him even tho both agreed it was for the best so Xerath could not get free. Nasus still working for Azir (the birdman) who is the emperor and renekton hates them because Xerath poisoned his mind. Xerath have lore with azir also
Yordles seem to come in many different shapes and sizes. And they vary a LOT in personality and drives. Many are silly and seemingly aloof, but some are incredibly intelligent, wise, and serious (like Heimerdinger!) They all seem to be pretty crafty though, with magic, science, or both. I wish there were videos for all of them, if you like the ones you’ve seen you should know it’s just barely scratched the surface :)
Hi Meesh and Dee. Much love from Egypt. Just wanted to note that while Shurima is themed around gold and sand, It's more like Kush (a civilization inspired by Egypt) than Ancient Egypt. The people in Shurima have a darker skin tone than even Nubians in south Egypt. Also Egypt in Ancient times was mostly agricultural since it was built around the Nile, So you'd see more green than sand. Sorry I sounded so much like a geek, just trying to fix a misconception xD. Love your videos. Keep it up
Teemo was kinda there in arcane … it was the scene where Silco visit Marcus home and was holding his daughter and their was a drawing of teemo in one of the kids book 📖
shoout out from brazil! love to see your videos. I'd recommend you to watch all the sequence from Ruination, it's like 8 or 10 videos straight. Also adding some information, Leona and Diana are lovers, same goes for Twisted Fate and Graves, Garen and Katarina.
If you are interested in the Lore and regions of Runeterra, more in depth, Necrit has a cool video called "world of riot MMO is already done" its about a game riot is developing but is really good at explaining the map, each region and what makes them all unique and special. Great reaction though love the "HEIMER" name drop for every yordle.
Yall need to watch Necrit's "The World of Riot's MMO is already done" video. It is a great introduction into the world of Runeterra and some of it's plotlines.
Bilgewater would be my pick for the next location of an Arcane type series. Not long after I first started playing league, they had a big event focused on that region and I'm very nostalgic for it. The story that came out at that time was fantastic.
What you’ve seen so far are part of the canon universe, but league also has alternate universes as well, represented in game as different skins for champions (yes, ingame cosmetics have lore too). Each universes exist separately, there’s no multiverse of madness here in League. Some examples are Ahri (the fox girl) and Akali (the ninja girl from your last video) are part of a K-Pop group in an alternate universe, with full backstorys and everything. Keep this in mind when you see Jinx as a crazy space pilot=))
Definitely gotta react to some of the skin trailers/cinematics, I think you guys would definitely love the star guardian skin line. Also the music is banging so I'd give those a listen to as well.
The Awaken, Warriors, The Call, Still Here Cinematic are canon to Arcane Universe. Just like Riot Forge Games: Song of Nunu;.... Ps Frerjord parts from these cinematics are happening in present time as Riot Forge Song of Nunu.
Thresh got his lore kinda weird after this cinematic and new thing because before this he wasn't a "prisoner" in the isles, he couldn't leave alright but he also didn't want to, there he could torture everyone forever since souls don't die and don't get permanently injured he also had all the power he wanted i dare say (personal opinion based on his lore feats) that out of all the creatures corrupted by the isles he was probably second only to the king, i guess at some point he got bored of torturing only souls and the ocasional dumb traveler or "coragious" warrior that think they can beat the isles and wanted to go out into the big world
Temo (the Yordle) is the most hated champion in the game, he is so annoying to play against. Oh, and Amumu, that sad little mummy, is also a Yordle (or at least he was a Yordle).
17:33 Centaur- body of a horse and torso and head of a man. Satyr- bipedal botton of a goat, torso and head of a man with horns. Faun- kinda same as satyr? Unless I'm fing wrong?!? Also seen as females, with bipedal bottom half of deer and torso and head of woman....maybe? I'm less and less confident with the more I type.
wait they are stuck thinking heimerdinger is corki bc corki wasnt mentioned in the things after. Also rip his mention of his name like 2-3 times. edit: fixed at 15:15
You should watch the Music videos of League of legends - Awaken - Warriors - The call Also there's a lot more great cinematics and here's my favs Xayah and Rakan: Wild magic ANNIE: Origins The Curse of the Sad Mummy | Amumu
"What was the whole point of them going there?" I find if you don't talk over all the dialogue as it's happening it might help explain why characters are doing what they are doing.
Love that u guys get into league content, imo everything related to league is a masterpiece expect the game itself but thats prply cause of the community in ranked games :D
