Awww, loved your reaction. It’s his wife, Morgane Stapleton. They have five kids together. They are one of my very favorite couples. Her voice is absolutely amazing as well. You should react to them singing. “I hope you dance”. (live Saint Jude charity performance), “you are my sunshine”, “starting over”, and Chris and his wife, with Leslie Jordan, singing “ farther along”. These songs just make me really happy. And you are right, Chris can’t really be placed in one musical genre. He does have a lot of country songs, but many of his songs also sound very blues like. If you want to hear his amazing guitar, skills and blues Sound, you should listen to I Was Wrong, live at Austin city limits.. For something more country, the songs “ what are you listening to”, “ Fire Away” I’d watch the music video for that one, and “either way” live at Charlie Rose to start. And, I highly suggest watching Chris sing the national anthem from the Super Bowl 2023. It’s my favorite Super Bowl National Anthem performance.
