My favorite Em album...once you get past the 'shock' of some of the themes...this is Em in his bag, some of his best work. "Stay Wide Awake" from this album is very dark and yet so so good.
The rhyming throughout the whole album is impeccable. The content maybe not, but it's funny (at least to me, I'm a Brit so that might explain the dark humour). Definitely one of his best albums.
When Em makes songs like this, i like to imagine that Dre and everyone else in the studio just stops and stares, and just wonders "what TF is wrong with you?" 🤣
Your reaction to this song is so funny to me because there is so much “insane” happening so quickly…theres a lot to unpack in that first verse alone. Love your videos, please keep on keepin on 😊
This album is not for everyone. I imagine you’d enjoy just about anything off of Recovery (Cold wind blows, Going through changes, etc.). It’s one of those albums you don’t really skip songs on. I’d bet you’d really enjoy his newer stuff too (Music to be murdered by side a and side b). That will definitely be more up your alley. Love the reacts though!!!!
I thought it would be fun to watch reactions to Insane and I love yours. The shock. As a song it's the worst of Relapse but as a shock reaction vid it's gold.
Just watched ur reaction video to insane and it made me laugh seeing ur reaction when u first heard heard it start. A lot of people judge Em in songs like this but this is Em being Slim Shady, he'll say whatever and the crazy thing is he makes it sound good. Songs like these r one of the things that make Em great, he can literally take any subject matter and rap about it and he's the only one that can do songs like these.
Eminem’s best song on this album is definitely “Stay Wide Awake.” Once you get passed the horror, it’s Eminem’s best rhyme scheme by far. He literally rhymes every single line with the next. Plus the flow, holy bonkers.
Lmao who the hell threw you in the deep end with this song. I love this album but I feel like we skipped like 10 steps to hit Insane. Relapse is a severely underrated album but it's ALOT to listen to early on.
Coming from Norway, when I first started listening to Eminem my english wasn't that good. pronunciation was alright but I didn't know wtf it all meant. So I was singing out loud in the back of my mothers car to shit like this and cleaning out my closet etc. with headphones on. I can only imagine what she was thinking hahahahaha I was 13 when relapse came out
No it is not rude at all. We need Britt to do Hi Ren!! I feel like she would really rock with Ren and he has sooooo many amazing tracks!! I am dying to see her react to "Hi Ren", "Tale of Jenny, Screech and Violet", "Chalk Outlines", "Money Game 1 and 2", "Sick Boi", his stuff with The Big Push like the "I shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" mashup.. I could keep going😅 But we need to keep asking cuz I'm assuming she doesn't even know who Ren is most likely. And selfishly I want to see her reaction, but I honestly think she really would enjoy Ren!!
He was absolutely just trying to offend with this song. This was peak drugged up slim shady. He meant no art by this. It wasn’t to send a message. It was to say some completely messed up stuff for the hell of saying messed up stuff
Lol what evil follower of yours recommend this to you? There's so many great songs by Em to get to and this isn't anywhere near the top. It's good for a shocking reaction for sure, but still
