With the animations that then went into the fight, if certain conditions are met special intros can be seen as well, you have to play the right characters, the right map, and killing them with a 2m or vanish to get the dramatic finish, the intros you only need the characters and the map for them

Goku cant gather energy for the spirit bomb in super saiyan because he is filled with rage so he goes back to base to charge it then goes into super saiyan to help push it

Just a small detail but Gohan isn't a teen when he's fighting cell as a super saiyan 2. He's 9 in the manga and 11 in the anime. They used to say teen as a way to differentiate versions of Gohan's so now they refer to him as Gohan (Youth)

My guess about the reason Bardock got a reverse finisher and Freeza never did was because of his second movie, where he pulls out the finisher on Chilled. While Chilled isn't in FighterZ, Freeza is pretty much the closest thing so they just use him.

Man i still want that to be included into the manga. Bardock being the reason for the SSJ legend is awesome. It also sets up the lore in which Planet Plant was invaded by tuffles for their healing plants all the inhabitants wiped out by tuffles ruthlessly then after the war that destroyed Saiyans homeworld salada Saiyans invaded the "Tuffle" planet and essentially killed all of the tuffles for the same reason lol.

The reason goku used the spirit bomb not in super saiyan is because super saiyan uses rage so he needed to be base for it to work but he can power up after to push the bomb harder

Some characters paired up with each other will have dramatic openings as well, hence the Nappa and Krillin, Goku and Frieza. Goku can use super saiyan after he lunges the spirit bomb, not during the creation of it.

So, a couple of things: Goku can only gather the energy for the Spirit Bomb in base form, but can supercharge it once it's been launched using his Super Saiyan forms; There's an arc in DB Super called the Tournament of Power, where all universes fight for their survival like a giant battle royale. Frieza was revived to fight for Universe 7 (Goku's team), that's why you can see him fight alongside Goku; You should check out the ultimate moves for FighterZ. Those have some of the best animations Dragon Ball games can offer. (Also you can find 2 versions of the Big Bang Kamehameha there)

While a Majority of theses are dramatic finishers, there are also “Dramatic Intros” where you start the match with an special cutscenes. Also, I’m pretty sure it’s an unspoken crime to skip Dramatic Finish because you gotta admit, they go hard.

That's the problem, you cant skip them, you just have to watch your opponent style on you if you're unlucky enough to get hit by one.

@BackyardDweller you can skip them. With a very simple press of a button. It's just...don't? Just be a sport and let it happen. It's hard to land anyway because it's very specific.

I belive to get a dramatic finish you have to win against a specific character using a specific character using standing medium on a specific map For dramatic intros you just have to be on a specific map with a specific team

Correct. You can’t gather energy in SSJ but when you can transform to get more of your own energy to propel it forward. Goku does this in the tournament of power too.

I would ask u do see every dokkan animations but that would take 3+ hours so nvm, u can split vids in dokkan's anniversaries tho, starting from the 1st and slowly progressing all the way to the 8th anni and today's units. Dokkan's improvements in animations is crazy u will see it yourself

The dramatic finishes are not a 1-1 recreation of the anime so some stuff you’ll remember differently. The backflip gogeta does is after he transforms but before he does the stardust breaker. Just him whoopin ass.

13:57 GT is as canon as other anime of dragon ball , whether you consider anime canon or not , if it's canon all of it is , db , dbz , dbgt , dbz kai , dbs . If it isn't all of it isn't and only manga is canon .A lot of fans have created this certain theory about specific anime being canon when clearly there are several different continuities and Toei itself does not care about these canon and non canon declarations by them as old dbz and gt still show up in something like the trailer of their new series Dragon Ball Daima .

Oh if you want something fun to watch, why not all the Dragon Ball Heroes trailers for the game? Starting from normal Dragon Ball Heroes to Super Dragon Ball Heroes. You could see all the crazy transformations the characters get in that game

I love SSJ4 Gogeta too but sadly SSB Gogeta is stronger. We can still enjoy SSJ4 Gogeta’s character though and his 100x Big Bang Kamehameha. Also Super Dragon Ball Heroes apparently released an episode recently where SSJ4 Xeno Goku fought DBS (SDBH version) Goku.
